When it gets really difficult, and stuff gets hard, I’ve learned to say “Thank you!”
One of the most powerful forces in your entrepreneurial journey is your belief in yourself. Trust your instincts, have faith in your capabilities, and don’t let anyone else’s doubts or limitations define what’s possible for you.
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill
It’s easy to choose short-cut paths in our digital age; however, you risk not achieving your highest potential. If you’re going to do something worthwhile, challenge yourself to do it right the first time.
Business isn’t just about the bottom line. When you focus on empowering people, making a positive impact, and doing the right thing, success has a way of following naturally.

Another lesson in life!
Education is freedom, and information is power. Those were the mottos in my family home growing up. Arm yourself with knowledge, and you’ll be unstoppable.
“Music is the most tangible conduit through which love can be expressed and conveyed. It’s the most logical way that love can be felt.” —@lovelogiq LoveLogiq is a singer, songwriter, poet, MC, and social activist. He believes that actions should carry “a spirit of love” or they should not be undertaken at all. Work on it. It’s in there!
It’s wonderful to connect with gorgeous women who gift their talents and networks toward lifting others up, as @thesherylleeralph did in Haiti, alongside my dear friend Harriet Michel and me pre-COVID. While I’m faithful that Haiti and the many other countries and communities in need of sustainable democracies will get there, I know that faith without works is dead. Let’s keep the promise and rewards of our world alive!
“What you do can’t be done. It’s warm, it’s engaging, it’s not about efficiency.” — @kevin2kelly
