It was a wonderful experience joining @TheRahulDua and #AbhishekDesai in a thought provoking panel, moderated by @priyankakhanna at the launch of @proctergambleIndia’s latest awareness campaign – P&G Shiksha #StandUpForLearningGaps. It was emotional, yet action-oriented – we recounted our own memories of facing learning challenges, discussed how to bridge learning gaps in children, and shared small steps we can take to identify and bridge gaps, to ensure children around us are learning well. I am proud to partner with #PGShiksha once again, after almost a decade and a half, and both @pgshiksha and I have evolved in time. The program today focuses on improving learning outcomes in children through holistic interventions, with various initiatives on the ground that are impacting over 45 lakh children, over the last 19 years. I am now a mother, and truly appreciate the value of being an aware parent. I’m better equipped now to help not just my own child, but even others around me, when they feel they might be falling behind in class. Raising awareness is the first step towards making a difference, and I am proud to join P&G Shiksha in this effort. I truly believe education is essential for unlocking a child’s full potential. Through my association with @pgshiksha, I’ve become acutely aware of the learning gaps that affect many children who fall behind expected learning levels.
