Laverne Cox Instagram – I haven’t been able to take all the truly devastating news for trans folks in state legislatures, school board meetings and the courts, nevermindall the other truly demoralizing atrocities happening all over the world. I haven’t been able to post much because it’s too much. My spirit has been truly broken by the state of the world right now. I have to both/and like a mofo right now for my survival. I’ve been working hard to lean into what brings joy, resilience, hope and healing without being in denial. This news from the 4th circuit feels like a glimmer of hope. I know the battles continue. I’m trying to fortify myself to join the fights more actively. But I’m of no use to anyone broken with the trauma over-riding the resilience. Thanks @erininthemorning for your tireless reporting.
