To be honest I feel very uneasy with these kinds of lists, mostly because it makes it so easy to forget that it takes a village to create change, always.
And yet the fact that climate activists are increasingly recognized in a world that used to be focused on a very specific kind of success within a certain system – that for me also means that’s we’ve all come a long way. We normalized the presence of activists, we reshaped the understanding of success, we are part of movements everywhere proving that it doesn’t need three superheroes to change the course of history, but rather millions of very ordinary people daring to fight for extraordinary dreams. 💕 All the love, Luisa | Posted on 01/Jun/2024 22:52:35
