Every 3 minutes, a child is born with a cleft condition. With as little as $240, and in less than 45 minutes Operation Smile can bring immediate transformation to a child’s life, helping them to be able to breathe better, be able to eat better, and be able to speak better. Working with Operation Smile has been a completely life-altering experience for me. It is an organization I am truly passionate about and grateful to be a part of. I first became involved over fifteen years ago when I volunteered to help stuff envelopes for the Smile Gala in New York, and I have since been on a few volunteer missions to various countries where I have met incredible individuals and volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to come together for the sole purpose of not only changing but saving a child’s life.
