മനുഷ്യൻ്റെ മനസ്സിനോടും, മനസ്സിൻ്റെ നിർവചിക്കാനാവാത്ത പ്രത്യേകതകളോടും ഇതിൽ കൂടുതൽ ആർദ്രമാകാൻ കഴിയില്ല. ‘കാതൽ (the core) ‘ ഒരു അനിർവചനീയമായ അനുഭവമായിരുന്നു. അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വിഷയം, അത് ഏതായാലും.. അതിലെ ശരിയും തെറ്റും എന്ന് വേർതിരിച്ച് പക്ഷം പിടിക്കുന്ന, മത്സരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മൾക്ക്.. ‘കാതൽ ദ കോർ’ എന്ന സിനിമ ഒരു പുതു പാഠം നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്. ശരിയും തെറ്റും തിരയുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ഒന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാം, കരുതാം, എന്നിട്ട് പരസ്പരം അംഗീകരിക്കാമെന്ന്! എന്തൊരു മനോഹരമായ ചിത്രമാണിത്! കാതൽ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത Jeo Baby യ്ക്കും , കോ ഡയറക്ടർ അഖിലിനും Akhil Anandan സല്യൂട്ട്. ഈ ചിത്രം എഴുതിയ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട Adarsh Sukumaran ഉം @Paul Scaria – യ്ക്കും ആദരം.കുടുംബത്തിനകത്തും പുറത്തുമുളള ബന്ധങ്ങളെ സൂക്ഷ്മമായി, എന്നാൽ അതീവ മുദുലമായാണ് എഴുത്ത്കാർ സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതിഭാവുകത്വമില്ലാതെ.. നന്മ ആരോപിക്കാതെ ജീവിതത്തെ പകർത്തുന്നതിനിടയിൽ.. മനുഷ്യ മനസ്സിനെ ഒരല്പം കൂടെ കരുണയുള്ളതാക്കാൻ എഴുത്തുകാർക്ക് സാധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.സമൂഹത്തിനെ മുന്നോട്ട് നയിക്കാൻ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് നിശ്ചമായും സാധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അതിന് എത്ര അഭിനന്ദിച്ചാലും മതിയാവില്ല. ആദർശേ..നിന്നെ പരിചയമുണ്ട്, എന്ന് പറയാൻ തന്നെ അഭിമാനമുണ്ട്! മമ്മൂക്ക! ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ കുറിച്ച് എന്താ എഴുതുക? എന്ത് പറഞ്ഞാലാവും? സിനിമയുടെ കാവൽ മാലാഖയായി മാറുകയാണ് ഈ മഹാനടൻ! അഭിനയത്തെ ഒരോ നിമിഷവും പുനർവ്യാഖ്യാനിച്ചും, നവീനമാക്കിയും, ഹൃദയത്തെ നിർമ്മലമാക്കിയും മനുഷ്യാവസ്ഥകളിലൂടെ നമ്മെ കൈപിടിച്ച് നടത്തുന്നു. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ജ്യോതിക എന്ന നടിയെ അല്ല.. ഓമനയെ മാത്രമെ കാണാൻ സാധിച്ചൊള്ളു. ചിത്രത്തിൻ്റെ കാസ്റ്റിംഗ് അതിഗംഭീരം.. ഒരോരുത്തരും അത്രമേൽ ഹൃദയത്തെ സ്പർശിച്ചു. തങ്കൻ ചേട്ടൻ (സുധി കോഴിക്കോട്) Sudhi Act ഒരു വലിയ നമസ്ക്കാരം.തങ്കൻ ചേട്ടൻ്റെ പ്രണയവും, ഒറ്റപ്പെടലും, ഹൃദയത്തിൻ്റെ വിങ്ങലും ഹൃദയത്തെ സ്പർശിച്ചു.ഇൻറർവൽ കട്ട്.. മറക്കാനാവില്ല ഒരിക്കലും.
