Sometimes 2 & it seems that nearly everyone decides to go glam! Walking around the ship & seeing the guests in all their finery makes me think of years gone by when this was the norm. Glorious (back to normal smart attire/civies every other night). If you don’t fancy dressing up, no pressure at all. This ship is stunning, over 1,130ft in length, it’s also one of the longest at sea & features a deep draught for a smooth and comfortable ride (I cut & paste that bit). They say bright is beautiful… sunglasses at the ready folks! Let’s take a moment please for the oldest coat in my wardrobe 😊 My 22 year old orange-red coat from @dkny & still going strong! 22 years together, isn’t that copper if we were married?! 🤣 Not sure many of you will have seen this one, I tend to keep it ‘for best’ which I always say NEVER DO! Bought this whilst filming Pop Idol back in the day. Glorious colour. Has a sixties vibe with panelling detail & same colour buttons. Worn with my ‘matching burnt orange/ red scheme’ @hobbslondon silk dress. Wore this flattering dress at the weekend hosting GWL and inundated with compliments. Any dress that is comfortable, lined, has pockets (result) and looks this flattering on my figure gets a huge yes from me. Thanks for the comments. It’s from @thefoldlondon and would be a frock you would cherish for a long time. I’ve bought their dresses before (ascot here we come) and know they work so well for my figure! They kindly lent this one for the event but I’m seriously thinking of buying as I don’t want to give it back. True! What the cluck 🐓🐔 For today’s 20th Day of Coatmas I’ll mention the coat but also want to share this wonderful farm with you. I’m lucky enough to meet interesting, determined & inspiring people – well Mike Duxbury & Ness Shillito certainly have all of that in spades or could that be wellies… Firstly the coat/jacket. It’s a lightweight 4oz wax number by @barbour I bought a UK size 12. Marvellous. Extra points for hood, inside pocket (not usual on ladies coats) drawstring waistband hidden inside (thus creating an illusion of a ‘waist’) & pretty damn waterproof. Not super warm so go extra layers in winter. Perfect for rainy days & Mondays (yes I know it’s Wednesday 😉🙄) Plus visits to farms… and yes that pig did nip my derrière 🐽🐷🐖🤣 Mike Duxbury, who lost his sight at the age of six through infantile glaucoma, only ever wanted to be a farmer. Having grown up on the family farm, he was determined not to let the loss of his sight stop him chasing the only career he ever wanted. Get ready for a Celebrity Escape to the Country Special! And it is very special ❤️ We help the nation’s favourite pantomime dame & king of the jungle Christopher Biggins, and his lovely partner Neil, escape London for a new home in the rural Home Counties. Plus couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a glorious afternoon tea all together at one of the most incredible homes in the countryside … 😉 Downton Abbey no less!!! Also trying my hand as a maid for the day. See how good my polishing skills are … 🤣 First met the one & only @biggins.christopher when we ‘Let’s Danced For Comic Relief’. He was my Danny & I was his Sandy. Grease has never looked the same since… 😳 Luckily we managed to extract me from the leather trews to be reunited again on this property quest, chaperoned by the wonderful Neil, his partner, who we all love x A delightful & hilarious episode with some divine property, wonderful countryside, some showbizz gossip & laughs a plenty with these two. Never feel blue when I’m wearing this classy coat from @hobbslondon Not many of my coats allow me enough room to have a jacket underneath without feeling like I’m wearing a straight jacket 🙄Great quality & fabulous colour which I’m going to name ‘dusty eggshell blue’. Yep. Because I can. An iconic single breasted wool coat with work-to-weekend appeal. I don’t normally go for the looser style but I adore this. Seam/stitch detail. Tortoiseshell (spelling?) buttons. Huge,huge pockets 👏Had it a few years & still looks as good as new. Feels designer!! Wore recently on 2 different shoots/ filming locations – see how it looks with a jacket worn underneath too.
