There’s no place like #jerusalem. Every time I’m in Israel we spend a few days in this magical city with friends and family. And today it’s more important than ever… As soon as we got to the hotel I heard an incredible group of reservists wives is there for a conference @mamatcal1 so I had to pop in, spend some time together and see how these brave lionesses are holding us all up. (And hold a cute baby too 🙂 We went to the rooftop of @mamillahotel for sunset drinks and from there to the Food Truck Festival @autochel_je and a laser show over the old city. Next day we spent time at the new and renovated National Library @nli_israel with ancient and modern Jewish literature. Next we went to the Hebrew music museum @hebrew_music_museum where the kids (ok, the adults too) got to play old and new instruments. Shabbat dinner was stunning at Chakra restaurant. @chakrarest Beyond delicious fusion Israeli food. The next day we walked the old city again and got to climb all the way to the top of the ancient minaret at @towerofdavid! It held up well. Thank G 🙂 And yeah, Ari chose that shirt on his own 😂 Can’t wait to be back, I💙JLM Thank you for everything as always @itraveljerusalem @reutf81 @asia.spectour 💙💙💙💙💙.

IRAN IS OCCUPYING THE MIDDLE EAST The Islamic Republic of Iran has effectively occupied the Middle East in order to wage a war against Israel from all sides. So let’s talk about it. Since October 8th Hezbollah has been firing thousands of rockets and drones at Israel, forcing nearly 100,000 citizens to evacuate from their homes, making them refugees in their own land. Dozens of civilians have been killed, and most recently, 12 children were massacred by Hezbollah while playing soccer in the Israeli-Druze village of Majdal Shams. Want to guess where the rocket that Hezbollah used was created? Yup, Iran. Hezbollah fired an Iranian-made Falaq 1 rocket with more than 100 pounds of explosives at these innocent children. Iran supports, funds, and trains Hezbollah to terrorize Israel from the north. To put things into perspective, Hezbollah’s army in Lebanon is stronger than the Lebanese Army and is equivalent to the armed strength of a medium-sized European country. Iran essentially borders Israel, but Israel doesn’t border Iran. Let that sink in. Iranian has established proxy armies from 7 fronts surrounding Israel. Gaza, Yemen, the West Bank, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Lebanon, which is right behind us. They have created a “ring of fire” around Israel with the clear intent of destroying the Jewish state. What would you do if you were attacked by thousands of missiles? What would any country do? Israel does not want war and has shown extraordinary restraint against thousands of rockets and drones launched at her daily. So, if you haven’t spoken up against the Islamic Republic of Iran’s attacks against Israel, stay silent when Israel needs to defend itself against this genocidal jihadi regime. It’s time to end Iran’s occupation of the Middle East.

I had the privilege of meeting Ziv Koren @zivkoren1 at his exhibit at the Peres Center for Peace @perescenter in Tel Aviv. Ziv is one the most accomplished news photographers in the world and what he has captured around October 7th is truly astonishing. Please go visit the exhibit so we can continue to tell the story of what happened that day.
Terrorist mastermind Mohammad Deif, who was responsible for the October 7th massacre and countless other terrorist attacks over the past 30 years, has been killed along with other Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Mohammad Deif had the blood of thousands of innocent lives on his hands, making him one of the most wanted terrorists in the world. In 2015, the United States added him to their list of Specially Designated Global Terrorists, and just last year, the European Union added him to their terrorist list too. Deif was a key architect of Hamas’s terror infrastructure. He orchestrated numerous suicide bombings in the 1990s and 2000s, which killed and maimed countless innocent people. He oversaw the firing of thousands of rockets into Israeli towns and cities, causing widespread fear and destruction. He also masterminded the development and use of terror tunnels, which were used for smuggling weapons and launching surprise attacks on Israeli civilians and military targets. The October 7th massacre was one of the darkest days in Israel’s history, a day that saw unspeakable violence and death. Let me be clear: October 7 could not have happened without Deif. He planned and executed this nightmare. With Deif gone, the world is a safer place. His death marks the end of a chapter of terror and violence that has plagued the region for far too long. By targeting Deif, Israel delivered a decisive blow to Hamas’s capabilities. The message is clear: those who spread terror and violence will face justice.
