Pearle Maaney Instagram – Today is Chingam Onnu, the first day of the Malayalam New Year, and I’m finally ticking off something that’s been on my heart for years – returning to Bharatanatyam! 🌸
My Guru arrived today ( @abbad_ram_mohan ) and after the traditional Guru Dakshina, we kicked off my first lesson. It felt like my feet were trying to remember what my heart never forgot! 💃🏻
As a child, i learned classical dance from @tharakalyan my First Guru ❤️✨ I danced, twirled, and probably fell a few times too, but life took over, and I had to put it on pause.
Now, as a mom, I want to remind my kids (and myself!) that it’s never too late to start something new…even if your muscles might think otherwise at first! 😅
Here’s to fresh starts, a few sore muscles, and the joy of rediscovering passions. ❤️
