Rashida Tlaib Instagram – I can’t believe this is where we are in our country. A member of the U.S. Congress can’t dare say Palestinians deserve to live and stop funding war crimes without being targeted by a U.S. based Israeli lobby group who suppresses free speech, funds insurrectionists, anti-abortion candidates, and anyone who is as obsessed as they are with ethnically cleansing Palestinians.
Some folks won’t ever get it.
@coribush is so real that she shook Congress. She literally walked in the House Chamber completely unafraid and only had one mission: save lives now. She isn’t just a congresswoman. She is a wife, a mother, a nurse, someone who knows how important access to abortion care and housing is because our systems failed her too.
She never hesitated to call out state funded violence here at home and abroad. We are approaching the 10th anniversary of the tragic murder of Michael Brown, which sparked a movement in her district that helped birth the Cori Bush we see in Congress today.
She is my personal hero. Always will be. I will always remember her call where she said, “You are not doing this alone, I got you.”
