Phase 3 complete, I AM CANCER-FREE 💪🏽 I got the official call from my Oncologist. And while I will be having scans every 3 mths…I am good 👍🏽 Peeps, there I was after my scan, I left the hospital and had the uncontrollable ugly cry…it was tears of joy 😊 I feel like a warrior, I feel like I can conquer the world. I feel like how did I get through this year…I guess the answer is, positive mind set. Truth is, I started believing in a higher power, can’t really explain it but I feel this energy 🙏🏽 And I don’t know how to show my gratitude to the team at UHN, but all I can say is thank you ❤️ And everyone who lifted me up through one of the hardest journey’s in my life, thank you. Wedding season 🥰 The wedding ceremony was so beautiful, I think it’s the first Indian outdoor wedding I’ve attended and the weather was perfect. The other kid had a conflict in her schedule, her friend’s birthday party so Shyla got quality time with us 😂 I was looking for an elegant black saree and @thesareeroom delivered! It was light, easy to wrap and the earrings finished the look. I’ll post more on the Saree soon. Awe, my baby girl is growing up too quickly for me ❤️ #WeddingSeason #Saree #Familytime

Chicken salad infused with Asian flavour 🥗 This one is SO GOOD! Must try…the flavours packs a punch with every bite! Recipe 1 1/2 cup cups green cabbage 1 cup red cabbage 1/2 cup shredded carrot Some green onions chopped 2 cups shredded chicken Can of mandarin oranges drained well or fresh mandarins Top it with cilantro, sesame seeds and almonds Dressing: 1/4 cup rice vinegar 3 Tbsp sesame oil 2 Tbsp soy sauce Little bit of tablespoons water 2 Tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp ginger 1 tsp garlic 1 Tbsp honey Enjoy! My Shyla 🥰 Girls who play sports ❤️❤️ If there is any advice I can give as a parent, get your kids involved in team sports…the best! They learn discipline, commitment, working as a team and also hardship…plus it keeps them off their phones, lol. Over the years (second slide) as you can see I was obsessed with Shyla’s serves 💪🏽Sam and I can watch her forever! Every summer weekend you will find us on the beach cheering on the girls rain or shine. And the last photo (oh lord I’m short and the socks and sandals I mean) 😂 During the long weekend we took a 4 day trip to London Ontario (wassup London) for Team Ontario. Wow, I was so proud of every kid walking in the opening ceremony ❤️ Side note: Sam has never missed a game for both girls, yeah he kinda rocks❤️ #MomMoment #Volleyball #Summer 🥰

Part 3 ❤️ Well what a week, low iodine diet, I had some of the biggest needles go into my buttocks the last two days 😂 And today my RAI – now it’s time to isolate. Luckily I get to do it at home and not the hospital, taking the whole lower floor, access to the gym! 3 days of no contact…waah! I love hugs 🥰 I’m almost there…and thank you to all those who have been checking in on me. Frozen Mango Protein Delight! I know, I know…isolating in the gym 😂 Downstairs is the best, I’ve got everything I need🤷🏽♀️ This is so yummy, perfect after a workout & EASY! Recipe 2 cup-ish of frozen mangos Little bit of Greek yogurt (I said frozen yogurt in the video) One scoop of protein vanilla powder Blend – I had to add a bit of water to get it going. And the results WOW! like WOW! Overhead squats are next level (last exercise) Do I train my abs separately? Not really I do GHD sit-ups every Sunday but that’s it. So ladies…grab some weights engage your core and go for it!
