When I first heard about the book, I was truly blown away. Aashvi, just at 14, has managed to capture something so profound and moving through her lens, that is is truly epic. The book in itself is a visual experience. Flipping through the black and white photographs you can actually feel the waves of emotion, devotion and faith that swept through Ayodhya after the Ram Mandir opened its doors. Aashvi does not get bogged by politics or controversies. Instead, she focuses only on the people- their faces, their stories, their faith. It’s as if she has made time stand still and you can almost hear the soft prayers of the millions who visited. Not to forget, she has been mentored by Kounteya Sinha who’s one of the finest visual storytellers. The guidance shines through in every shot.
