As I sit down to write this, my heart swells with a mixture of pride, nostalgia, and pure joy. I can’t believe how quickly time has flown by. It feels like just yesterday that I held you in my arms for the first time. I remember being in awe of your chubby cheeks and adorable smile, so much so that I even asked the nurse if you were really my sister because you were just too cute to be true.
Becoming a mother to you at the age of 16 was a journey that shaped me in ways I never imagined. You taught me that motherhood isn’t defined by giving birth but by the love, care, and bond we share. Through the years, we’ve grown together, laughed together, and faced challenges side by side. Watching you grow from that precious baby into the amazing young woman you are today has been the greatest privilege of my life.
Now, as you embark on this new adventure of going to college, my heart bursts with pride. You’ve worked so hard, I am so incredibly happy for you and excited to see the incredible things you will achieve. I believe You are capable of incredible things. College is just the beginning of a wonderful journey, and I have no doubt that you will shine brightly in everything you do.
Thank you for being my little sister. I love you more than words can express, I will always be your partner in crime and I will always be here cheering you on every step of the way.
