Toni Watson Instagram – When I was a busker I entered into the @bluesfestbusking where the winners got to play @bluesfestbyronbay. It was truly the first festival I ever played and I carried my broken keyboards and loopers through the rain, I was setting up when a stage hand asked if I needed help I thought “what that’s not a thing, people never helped me before”, I proceeded to set it up myself and After a 30 minute set with 10 of my girls front row (only row) we enjoyed the festival that we could never afford otherwise. I saw @ragnboneman who was a true highlight for me and I knew it wouldn’t be the last time I played here. Now 7 years later I am one of the headliners and @ragnboneman is also coming back to play this same festival. I won’t speak much on it being “the last blues fest ever” because I truely hope it’s not but just incase it is.. we are going BIG!
