Christian Kane Instagram - I will miss my friend #NickiAycox Just got home from Asia and learned of her passing from her battle with Leukemia in November.. I feel I should speak of our story. Not only did we go to college together in Oklahoma, we were good friends in college. Neither one of us knew we had made the move to L.A. to pursue our dream but what are the chances of two kids, from Oklahoma, who were friends, ending up on the same network, the same night, on two different shows? The odds? We all don’t have that many fingers put together. After watching #leverage on #TNT you would stay tuned for #darkblue I thought the world of her. She was always so kind to me. I’m heartbroken. I hadn’t seen her since 2017 but it was an unwritten thing that we were always friends and we’d see each other when we saw each other. To me this still is in play. Though I have tears in my eyes writing this I have to ask you for one more thing Nicki. Please keep some beer on ice for me. I’ll see you when I see you. But I will see you. Love you. You’re truly missed by all.

I was fortunate enough to be there. Aside from his mama I believe I may have been the first one to give him a hug. So you see, I’ve watched him grow from a fantastic actor into a fantastic actor. Christian Kane Instagram - The first time I met Keith David @silverthroat was at an awards ceremony. I walked up and shook his hand and without either realizing, we had ended up giving each other a hug. I was a huge fan of his and come to find out, he watched Leverage and knew who this kid was. I was so honored. I proceeded to take a huge step by asking an American icon to do me a favor. I said “I have an idea for you to come play a role on Leverage” a role that has been up front in my characters mind that @officialdeandevlin @jonrog1 and I came up with almost during season 1 of Leverage. I didn’t/couldn’t tell him what it was, but he said he’d love to. Low and behold the time came for me to make the call and he said yes. He blessed me with a figure that was a ghost in my mind and when He walked in as the character, I’m telling you…. not another actor in the world was better for this piece of an intricate puzzle that was always present but always missing. These days I try to fight internally. I know to many of you it seems not healthy, but there were so many of you that have reached out, #kaniacs and people that have wished me well. Many to say, I hope you’re OK, but so many said they were going through a similar situation, so I felt a need to reach out. What do I do in this situation? You guys have always had my back. So… with the power you’ve invested in me, I want to share what I do. When you’re in your head, and the road you’re on seems a bit clouded, and the vision is not yours, get in the car/truck by yourself and pour a fuck load of gasoline on a bunch of horses and drive through it. I’ve done this for years and it has always made me see clearer. Im ok! My wish now for you guys in 22 is that you are too. We’ve been hurting and struggling these past few years, some with no consideration or help or understanding from others. For those who can… talk to someone. They will listen. For those who can’t. Put the fuckin pedal down. You’re not driving away from your life, you’re racing into this year. I love you all. You’ve not only given me a life but you’ve made it better. I usually don’t do this but I feel I should tell a secret. I’ve never taken an acting class. I learn by watching the best in the business. Which was him. I’m a thief. Christian Kane Instagram - Wanted to talk about this kid, Tate Myre for a while but couldn’t find the words. But I’m going to give it a shot because it weighs heavy on my heart and some of you have stated the same. You know, I go to work and I put on different hats, people filter in the smoke and set up mirrors, and I get to step into the shoes of someone I really love and play Eliot Spencer. I get to be an unlikely hero. When I heard his story one of the first things I could say after feeling what we all felt and drying my eyes was “This guy is a true hero, he’s the real Eliot Spencer” he didn’t take off his cape at the end of the day. Talking to my friends, some you know, some you don’t, we all agreed that we just pray we could have an ounce of what he had when faced with a situation like that. My heart goes out to his family and the families of Madisyn Baldwin, Hana St Juliana, and Justin Shilling. I’m still not sure if I found the right words but I knew some time had gone by and a few of you were hurting like a lot of folks. I thought it might be nice to honor and remember him this weekend over family and football. He loved both as well. I hope I get to meet you one day Tate…. I’d like to shake your hand.

Above 700 days of filming. Easily over 8500 hours of shooting. 3 trips to the hospital for me. Just pushing 200 fights. From start til now that’s 15 years, counting downtime. Christian Kane Instagram - One week before our show #almostparadisetv @amazonprime @amazonfreevee (2nd season premiere) opened we went on Strike. We had worked for 6 mos, grueling hours in unimaginable heat to bring you this. But that’s not all.. it took us over two and a half years to get back to our friends and hard working family due to the pandemic being very bad in the Philippines. So you can say we worked on bringing this back to you for over 3 years. Days before it came out we were told we are not allowed to do press or any social media to promote something we loved, a country we fell in love with, or our unbelievable crew who we already loved dearly. Honestly I felt this was unfair in life. I’m now very proud to be able to talk about the show!!!!! So… I think I’ll just photo/video dump for the next few days. Thank you to ALL, and it was a lot, that supported us and made our show #1 even through the strike with no promotion. I get to be an unlikely hero. When I heard his story one of the first things I could say after feeling what we all felt and drying my eyes was “This guy is a true hero, he’s the real Eliot Spencer” he didn’t take off his cape at the end of the day. Talking to my friends, some you know, some you don’t, we all agreed that we just pray we could have an ounce of what he had when faced with a situation like that. My heart goes out to his family and the families of Madisyn Baldwin, Hana St Juliana, and Justin Shilling. I’m still not sure if I found the right words but I knew some time had gone by and a few of you were hurting like a lot of folks. I thought it might be nice to honor and remember him this weekend over family and football. He loved both as well. I hope I get to meet you one day Tate…. I’d like to shake your hand.
