Gregor Gillespie Instagram - Guys I'm STILL in the UFC relax. I'll explain. 1) I'm removed from the RANKINGS. Not from the organization. (Fighters are removed from rankings when inactive for a period of time which I'm gathering is 12 months.) 2) I'm not fucking going ANYWHERE, rankings or not. I love the UFC and contrary to what the haters say about them, the UFC has ALWAYS been more than good to me. Pay is great, everything super organized, the follow up after from medical staff is unbelievable, 100% class act top of the food chain. It is NOT their fault I have not had a fight. They have offered me plenty of fights in the last year. I have accepted any and all of them against guys who were ranked ahead of me, (outside of the VERY short notice ones like 4-8 days) and conversely I have obviously turned down all of the ones of guys ranked behind me. I am on a mission to fight the top guys w the lowest number next to their name and get towards that belt, and fighting guys who are ranked behind me isn't the way to do that, but I also understand sitting for a long period of time isn't either. 3) I am, and have been patiently waiting for the right fight, one that is going to push me toward the belt. Since Ferguson turned it down like 100 fukin times in the last yr, since Mikey Chandler didn't seem too interested in fighting me when I brought it up, and since RDA just turned down the fight against me (WHICH I ACCEPTED BTW) I guess @beneildariush will have to do. I know you're banged up and recovering big dawg, so just gimme a 8 week heads up and let's do the thing. PS ... RDA ,Chandler , offer always fukin stands ... RDA was cool with fighting me on 4 days notice when I was literally on a mountain 7 hours away from home when he needed a last second replacement, but when just offered fight w me since then where I would have a fight camp, he straight up said no. ***Long story short, removed from rankings, not from the UFC.

Gregor Gillespie Instagram - It’s always insane to me when the guys I train think that stance and motion or shadow boxing/wrestling- is some sort of warm up. I did 25 minutes of work and it was about as much as I could do, because I did it correctly! Soaking wet, legs shaking, heart rate SUPER high, and completely unable to form a sentence with how out of breath I was. *The breakdown of rounds was as follows: (on the boxing timer app) 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds of break, x25 rounds - alternating WRESTLING stance&motion and shadow boxing. The “up and down” part of it makes it wayyyy tougher (and more realistic) if you’re an MMA fighter. That’s out of the @keith_trimble handbook of mma fight conditioning! (Now before you do this and then message me that it wasn’t that tough, I’ll leave you w the same words I tell the guys I train: “you can make anything hard as Fuk, and you can make anything easy”. ) Give it a try, push yourself, and comment on how it went below! I’m looking forward to hearing how you guys feel about the workout! *ps - to make it tougher, on the 10 second break, keep your hands up, move your feet and move your head.* but if you need the break, take it… it’s designed into the workout!

This did the trick. *100 lb D-ball, 15 squats. *70 lb D-ball, 15 scoop n throw over shoulder. 14,14. 13,13. 12,12. Etc. down to 1,1. I took breaks as needed. I did not have a set amount of time I rested for, nor did I have a set amount of work in mind that I would finish before taking a break. I went until I couldn’t, breathed a bit, but not long enough to leave that uncomfortable place, and went back. It sucked, and I needed it.

As an adult I have been disappointed many times by my expectations from childhood surrounding how big or exciting something was that I remembered from my youth. Cedar point was nottttt one of these times. In fact, I think I was more excited and had more fun this time because not only are the rides literally mind bending these days, but I got to share 2 full days riding every single ride in the park with the woman I love love , and a kid who I adore! I hope Christopher looks back and has memories of this trip like I had from when my mom and dad took us as kids!

(Fighters are removed from rankings when inactive for a period of time which I'm gathering is 12 months.) 2) I'm not fucking going ANYWHERE, rankings or not. I love the UFC and contrary to what the haters say about them, the UFC has ALWAYS been more than good to me. Pay is great, everything super organized, the follow up after from medical staff is unbelievable, 100% class act top of the food chain. It is NOT their fault I have not had a fight. They have offered me plenty of fights in the last year. I have accepted any and all of them against guys who were ranked ahead of me, (outside of the VERY short notice ones like 4-8 days) and conversely I have obviously turned down all of the ones of guys ranked behind me. I am on a mission to fight the top guys w the lowest number next to their name and get towards that belt, and fighting guys who are ranked behind me isn't the way to do that, but I also understand sitting for a long period of time isn't either. 3) I am, and have been patiently waiting for the right fight, one that is going to push me toward the belt. Since Ferguson turned it down like 100 fukin times in the last yr, since Mikey Chandler didn't seem too interested in fighting me when I brought it up, and since RDA just turned down the fight against me (WHICH I ACCEPTED BTW) I guess @beneildariush will have to do. I know you're banged up and recovering big dawg, so just gimme a 8 week heads up and let's do the thing. PS ... RDA ,Chandler , offer always fukin stands ... RDA was cool with fighting me on 4 days notice when I was literally on a mountain 7 hours away from home when he needed a last second replacement, but when just offered fight w me since then where I would have a fight camp, he straight up said no. ***Long story short, removed from rankings, not from the UFC.

Soaking wet, legs shaking, heart rate SUPER high, and completely unable to form a sentence with how out of breath I was. *The breakdown of rounds was as follows: (on the boxing timer app) 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds of break, x25 rounds - alternating WRESTLING stance&motion and shadow boxing. The “up and down” part of it makes it wayyyy tougher (and more realistic) if you’re an MMA fighter. That’s out of the @keith_trimble handbook of mma fight conditioning! (Now before you do this and then message me that it wasn’t that tough, I’ll leave you w the same words I tell the guys I train: “you can make anything hard as Fuk, and you can make anything easy”. ) Give it a try, push yourself, and comment on how it went below! Caption : This morning I felt that I needed to exorcise some demons. This did the trick. *100 lb D-ball, 15 squats. *70 lb D-ball, 15 scoop n throw over shoulder. 14,14. 13,13. 12,12.
