BUT, it is now. This is my friend @adelaidecrocker She used to answer the phones at my old management company, neither of us are there any more but we got along so well that she basically became my little sister. She’s one of the best humans I know. She also has a sick line called HUNK itnl. She chain stitches cool designs and phrases onto vintage clothes. Her brand doesn’t have a ton of awareness but it rules. Some other cooler more famous people than me have worn her stuff. I really wanted to help her blow it up, but at the same time I wanted to make some tie dyes for charity, SO we decided to kill two birds with one stone… (but lets be honest we are both piggybacking on the brains of @andy_muschietti and @stephenking for me having this many followers to begin with). This is my HUNK Xmas collaboration with her. Because each one made by hand, it was time consuming so there are only about 50 of them. I dyed these myself in my backyard in LA, then I gave them to Addy and she hand stitched the graphics over top in Ojai. And this is how the profit works- because her business is small, 50 percent goes into helping her build her brand, paying for a space, etc. The other half, the half that’s mine, will get donated to the urban sanctuary project in LA. It’s a groundbreaking program that opens the doors of Blessed Sacrament church in Hollywood to the unhoused in between services on weekdays. The at risk community in  can go inside, rest, rejuvenate and get some food during the day. They don’t need to be a member of the parish, one can just go inside and take a nap to get out of the harsh sunlight or the cold. And also, because I hate sketchy charities, and because I believe in full transparency, I will post the receipts of ALL the transactions, including what my hard costs were. James Ransone Instagram - I actually can’t believe it. We sold out in less than 24 hours. All US orders have shipped. Foreign orders ship today. Thank you everyone for all of your love and support for @adelaidecrocker and my holiday collection with @hunk_intl At the end of this week I’ll post a link to a PDF of all the receipts for our costs, our final profits and my contribution to The Urban Sanctuary at Blessed Sacrament Hollywood. Special thanks to @tophergrace who randomly helped my wife carry orders into FedEx while my baby son was strapped to her body. We are brainstorming a Valentine’s Day run. hopefully next time we can figure out a cheaper/more efficient way with a larger quantity. Trying to figure out how to up the proceeds as well. James Ransone Instagram - So before this place became the indelible @officialdannytrejo ‘s it was called donut time. 5 years ago I shot a movie here called tangerine with a skeleton crew of 5 people. The budget was so small they couldn’t even close it down for us to have the location outright so customers would literally come in and ruin takes. I think I made a grand total of $100 for it. It’s totally wild that today I’m involved in this juggernaut of a franchise that comes out in a couple days (and btw I never imagined that I’d work on something so beloved in pop culture). While I was sitting here I was reminded how massive of an undertaking it is to make a movie. Any movie. And while it was so much fun to get to go to work with all the other actors every day this post is a thank you to the crew. They’re the unsung heroes that entertain you. The actors have the easy job. We also get all the glory- but without the rest of the people who help put it together- from makeup to electric to hair to the carpenters to the set painters to the accountants, even the pa’s that bring jerks like me coffee, it’d be just be a bunch of people standing in a room talking about themselves. They too are away from their families working long nights in the same uncomfortable (it’s not that bad) settings as we are but they get none of the glory. SO if you’re going to see @itmovieofficial the next few weeks try to remind yourself just of how many 1000’s of hours of sweat and love were put into this thing so all of us could be entertained for a couple hours. The craftsmanship on this one in particular is incredible. Also remember - like everything else - it was a group effort and none of it works if we ALL aren’t in it together!

James Ransone Instagram - as long as we are airing out dirty laundry (sorry I have to do this here): I hate mob justice and the court of public opinion. I think a lot of what’s currently wrong with our culture stems from this, but as of today I have no other options but to put this into public consciousness by using social media. I had to utilize this form because the institutions that are meant to defend and protect children completely and utterly failed in this instance. This is an email I sent to a public school teacher named Tim Rualo on March 6th 2021. He teaches social studies at sudbrook magnet middle school in Baltimore Maryland. If anyone knows a parent who has a child that attends this school I think they should at least be made aware of what my experience was with Mr. Rualo when I was their children’s age. I am posting this here because a month after I sent this to Him I called the school and confirmed that he is still working as a teacher at sudbrook, and that the email address I used (trualo@bcps.org) is still in use by him. I have no other options and exhausted all other institutional means including both Baltimore county police and Human Resources at Baltimore county public schools. I have no interest in a civil suit. I just want to make sure that what happened to me doesn’t happen to another child, ever again. Thanks.

James Ransone Instagram - Hey guys- Im in this! Very briefly though. I saw it last night and it’s awesome. Got to work with my old pal @ethanhawke and was lucky enough to have @scottderrickson keep me employed. Im not in it that much, but honestly this was so great. @masonthamesofficial knocks it out of the park but the real scene stealer for me was @madeleinemcgraw I been in this game a minute and am rarely impressed, and maybe I’m getting old or maybe having a daughter has made me soft but she almost made me cry. Congrats to all for making a great movie with one of the most satisfying endings I’ve seen in a while.

Likes : 29659James Ransone - 27.4K Likes - So before this place became the indelible @officialdannytrejo ‘s it was called donut time. 5 years ago I shot a movie here called tangerine with a skeleton crew of 5 people. The budget was so small they couldn’t even close it down for us to have the location outright so customers would literally come in and ruin takes. I think I made a grand total of $100 for it. It’s totally wild that today I’m involved in this juggernaut of a franchise that comes out in a couple days (and btw I never imagined that I’d work on something so beloved in pop culture). While I was sitting here I was reminded how massive of an undertaking it is to make a movie. Any movie. And while it was so much fun to get to go to work with all the other actors every day this post is a thank you to the crew. They’re the unsung heroes that entertain you. The actors have the easy job. We also get all the glory- but without the rest of the people who help put it together- from makeup to electric to hair to the carpenters to the set painters to the accountants, even the pa’s that bring jerks like me coffee, it’d be just be a bunch of people standing in a room talking about themselves. They too are away from their families working long nights in the same uncomfortable (it’s not that bad) settings as we are but they get none of the glory. SO if you’re going to see @itmovieofficial the next few weeks try to remind yourself just of how many 1000’s of hours of sweat and love were put into this thing so all of us could be entertained for a couple hours. The craftsmanship on this one in particular is incredible. Also remember - like everything else - it was a group effort and none of it works if we ALL aren’t in it together!

I think a lot of what’s currently wrong with our culture stems from this, but as of today I have no other options but to put this into public consciousness by using social media. I had to utilize this form because the institutions that are meant to defend and protect children completely and utterly failed in this instance. This is an email I sent to a public school teacher named Tim Rualo on March 6th 2021. He teaches social studies at sudbrook magnet middle school in Baltimore Maryland. If anyone knows a parent who has a child that attends this school I think they should at least be made aware of what my experience was with Mr. Rualo when I was their children’s age. I am posting this here because a month after I sent this to Him I called the school and confirmed that he is still working as a teacher at sudbrook, and that the email address I used (trualo@bcps.org) is still in use by him. I have no other options and exhausted all other institutional means including both Baltimore county police and Human Resources at Baltimore county public schools. I have no interest in a civil suit. Im not in it that much, but honestly this was so great. @masonthamesofficial knocks it out of the park but the real scene stealer for me was @madeleinemcgraw I been in this game a minute and am rarely impressed, and maybe I’m getting old or maybe having a daughter has made me soft but she almost made me cry. Congrats to all for making a great movie with one of the most satisfying endings I’ve seen in a while.

Likes : 2092James Ransone - 1.6K Likes - Given all the talk about AI I have thinking about this a lot lately… this is a rip reel I made for a tv show I wrote and tried to get made in 2016 (I couldn’t get it off the ground and I also got dropped by the agency that signed me for it). It’s weird to think this was almost 8 years ago. I might drop the bible (I had about 5 seasons mapped out) and the script for the pilot on a sub stack. Anyway enjoy. Lemme know what you think (also thanks Kevin kusatsu for helping me get the reel made!)
