Noree Victoria Instagram - Despite the fuckery of the world and my fist in the air, on most days, internally, I feel weightless. I donā€™t always know how to place this feeling. Iā€™ve had people question how it can even exist in 2022. All I can say, is that it really boils down to the origin story. The evolution has been internal. The elevation, witnessed by the worthy. Externallyā€¦ if Iā€™m honest, I feel most flawless without make-up, without hair, without nailsā€¦ hell, even without clothes or shoesā€¦ Filtered by the star we call a sun. Thatā€™s it. Every line, every scar, every healthy, rebellious, ā€œunlaidā€ hair. Look. This is how I came to play. And I do not fight fairā€¦ It is only when things are put upon me that I ask ā€œbutā€¦ what was wrong?ā€ The answer, standing unencumbered in my shower, after all the unsolicited opinions have been washed away, is absolutely nothing. So you see, I am far from a TV doll. I am sea & sandā€™s unruly daughter. Noree Victoria Instagram - I graduated last week, fam! (Again. But this time, for screenwriting...) I've spent the last 25 months with the most generous and motivational force of an instructor (Hal Croasmun), talented peers, turned in 250 written assignments, created projects that I'm really proud of -- one in development -- and earned a Master Certificate in Screenwriting. Writing nonstop has informed my acting. It has informed my lens of directing. My mind is blown when I look at all the rabbit holes now in front of me, and the many new ways to experience existing adventures. I'm inspired, re-inspired, by this entire ecosystem of creativity. All are related. None are silos. These past couple of years have taken me deeper into the things that I love, and I can't wait to see many of you again on the other side! āœØ And... I'm so grateful for the support system that's held me down. You who kept me laughing, loved, focused. Listened to my assignments and pivots, night after night, sometimes into the morning. Helped me to feel energized when exhausted, confident when I doubted, free while sitting in one chair until my bum went numb. Leaned all the way into the tales from my heart and mindā€¦ I do this work for me, but I dedicate it all to you. 'Legacy' has so many ways to manifest itself. Inspiration is a renewable resource. My heart (and harddrive) are full of things that hitch rides on nebulas lightyears away. It's not scary at all. It's liberation. And with liberation... In life, there will be times where you cannot be afraid to disappear - for weeks, months, even years - to honor what you know is inside of you. You cannot be afraid to disappear from positions, titles, events, social media... I'm here to tell you that stillness, in silence, is sometimes the very best thing you can give yourself, and the world. And so, Iā€™m rooting for your journeys too, however you choose to take them! I could never take it for granted, because I know this is a special privilege. I've spent the last 25 months with the most generous and motivational force of an instructor (Hal Croasmun), talented peers, turned in 250 written assignments, created projects that I'm really proud of -- one in development -- and earned a Master Certificate in Screenwriting. Writing nonstop has informed my acting. It has informed my lens of directing. My mind is blown when I look at all the rabbit holes now in front of me, and the many new ways to experience existing adventures. I'm inspired, re-inspired, by this entire ecosystem of creativity. All are related. None are silos. These past couple of years have taken me deeper into the things that I love, and I can't wait to see many of you again on the other side! āœØ And... I'm so grateful for the support system that's held me down. You who kept me laughing, loved, focused. Listened to my assignments and pivots, night after night, sometimes into the morning. Helped me to feel energized when exhausted, confident when I doubted, free while sitting in one chair until my bum went numb. Leaned all the way into the tales from my heart and mindā€¦ I do this work for me, but I dedicate it all to you. 'Legacy' has so many ways to manifest itself. Inspiration is a renewable resource.
