Paul Robinson Instagram - Right before we had to leave, I managed to send the elusive roadside scary test piece, “Get Railed” V14/8B . The experience on this thing will definitely be one I won’t forget anytime soon! I always wanted to climb this thing but always was just too scared to commit to the fear factors. Thanks for the support from @ethan_pringle @lizzy.ellison and @westmountainmedia on this thing! No way I could have done it without you guys! #bouldering photo: @westmountainmedia
Paul Robinson Instagram - Between the rain spells it’s been fun to check out a few boulders I hadn’t done on past trips! Here is a rad one called, “Strategic Balance,” 8A/V11. #bouldering video: @frank__decaro
Paul Robinson Instagram - Happy cinco de mayo! I cannot wait to return to this magical bouldering area in Mexico one day! Hopefully this winter 🙏🙏🙏 #bouldering photo: @alex_simone88
Paul Robinson Instagram - Driving to the airport on Friday afternoon, I almost turned around and went back home due to feeling like I was starting to get a cold. Fortunately, I decided to make the trip down to hueco tanks for the 2024 @americanalpine Hueco Rock Rodeo. After a not so great night of sleep, I got the list of climbs for the rodeo and started to make a strategy for the day for the 6 climbs I hoped to be able to climb. With an incredibly stacked field, I knew it was going to have to be high risk for a possible high reward. 7 hours of climbing and 6 climbs meant that I would need to send 1 climb nearly every hour. @frank__decaro and I decided the spur for the majority of the day was going to be my best bet. I began the day by warming up on the top of “the machinist” and then refamiliarized myself with the crux moves. I made an ascent of the machinist (video 1) a little before 11 am and then moved onto “nagual.” I took 30 mins to relax, eat some snacks and recover. I quickly sent “nagual,” (video 2) again and then made my way to “Couer De Leon,” a little bit before noon. “Couer,” ended up putting up a bit of a fight. I took my time but it ended up taking a little over an hour to climb (video 3 in the underwear to get the right friction w the knee pad 🤣). From there the climbs I knew that were going to be hardest for me were done. I just needed to keep it together, climb well, and I could have the day Frank and I had planned for myself. I sent “crown of Aragorn,” quickly. We packed up and made our way to “full Monty.” I did the top once and then sent from the bottom (video 4). At this point, exhaustion was setting in. I had 5/6 climbs done and it was only 2:50. “The flame” was going to be my final climb of the day. I saved the easiest for last and thankfully with a few minor beta tweaks and one unfortunate dab at the top out, I ended up finding myself climbing out of the hole for the send. Frank mentioned we could go over to east and I could try “Li.” At this point, I had no clue if I was winning or losing. We made the trek over the top of East and down the “Li.” I immediately knew I was way too tired to climb anything else that day and quickly called it. More in comments.

Paul Robinson Instagram - Didn’t bring my climbing shoes to the crag yesterday to force a rest day… but the @evolv_worldwide Rebels are so sticky! I was too tempted and had to try this really fun V9 called Fruchtzwerg. 😂😂 #bouldering video: @lizzy.ellison
Paul Robinson Instagram - Wow, just realized this is my 1000th post on Instagram and how fitting after an awesome send of the third ascent of “Legacy” 9a/14d or 8B /V14. The route is short so it really is hard to say which grade to use but it sure is a stunner! The last few days have been nothing short of amazing! Climbing 🧗‍♂️ and scoring Lambertsbaai on a great day for surfing 🏄‍♂️ :) happy times here in Africa and thanks to all of you for following along on this wild journey it’s been over the last decade or so with @instagram as a creative outlet. Video still from @lizzy.ellison #bouldering but on a rope 😂

Paul Robinson Instagram - Such an insane move on this climb! Moon Shadow, V13/8B from Rocklands. I really surprised myself when I stuck the swing. I grabbed the hold poorly but somehow managed to hold on! #bouldering video: @ethan_pringle
Paul Robinson Instagram - #pranapartner - I am back from South Africa which means it’s now time to start uploading footage from such a spectacular trip! Part I is live on my YouTube channel! The highlight of the first video is my 3rd ascent of “Legacy,” 9a/14d. Make sure to check it out 😊 Huge thanks to @prana for helping make this trip a possible. #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - One of the best in the south, “wookie charms,” V12/8A . Grateful for the amazing weather good people and awesome sends I was able to have while on my short trip to Chattanooga. Board comp tonight, some on our to support if you are in the area! #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Ménage à trois, 8B /V14. Such a sick one. Two super hard moves that guard an easy bulge top out finish. I figured out the first move quickly and then it took me a bit to figure out how I wanted to place my heel for the big lock off move! Psyched to finish this one off! This climb had been on my list of boulders I wanted to do after seeing the video of the first ascent a few years back! Big hike to good hope tomorrow 💪💪 #bouldering photo: @lizzy.ellison
Paul Robinson Instagram - This trip to Chile has been a testing one, to say the least. I boarded my flight psyched out of my mind for a 2 week trip to a far off destination I had never been to before with a friend, @faculangbehn who I had not seen in many years. After one day of tired jet lagged climbing, I came down with one of the worst stomach viruses I have ever had. 5 days in bed wrecked me and left me with no strength and extreme fatigue. I am finally coming out of the haze with only a few days left before heading back home to Colorado. Yesterday was my first day back where I felt like I had some semblance of my normal strength. Facu and I cleaned this legend line and we made a joint first ascent of it, Eternal Return, V11/8A at Silla Del Diablo. I can’t thank Facu and his family and friends for helping make this trip as enjoyable as it could be despite the 🤮 circumstances. After a mega day yesterday, I am resting today and will be back at it tomorrow for a full weekend of awesome climbing! Thankful for health and thankful for friends. #bouldering photo: @faculangbehn
Paul Robinson Instagram - First day in Rocklands… So stoked to be back!!! Made a quick ascent of Rise Up, V12. Sick new one. Can’t wait to get back out there tomorrow 🇿🇦🇿🇦🤙🤙 photo: @lizzy.ellison
Paul Robinson Instagram - Before leaving South Africa, I managed to make the 2nd? Ascent of @nalle_hukkataival ‘s “Digital Populism,” V13/8B. Such a sick line and one that was worth the pretty miserable hike to get out there! #bouldering photo: @frank__decaro
Paul Robinson Instagram - The send of “Get Railed” has got to be one of my more special moments in my climbing history. This thing would keep me up at night when I was 10,000 miles away from the boulder thinking about it’s terrifying landing and precarious moves high off the deck with a near no fall zone. It took a lot of mental fortitude to get myself to a point where I could really push through the fear and send this beast of a climb. I cannot wait for more Africa fun in a few more months! #bouldering video: @lizzy.ellison
Paul Robinson Instagram - Ubuntu, 8A /V12 just another legend boulder in Rocklands. Can’t even explain how good this place is 🤤. Nice FA to @keenantakahashi ! #bouldering photo: @pixbyeisa
Paul Robinson Instagram - Stoked to head out to the poudre the other day and make a quick ascent of the incredible @sam_rockstein boulder, “Zodiac,” V13/8B. Such a sick one! Fun video coming soon to the YouTube channel!
Paul Robinson Instagram - Osaka, V12 (2nd ascent) Silla Del Diablo, Chile. My trip to Chile 🇨🇱 has come and gone. I don’t think in my 25 years of climbing, I have had such bad luck on an international trip. I started the trip off with a stomach virus and then ended the trip with a bad cold that turned into bronchitis and a severe sinus infection. I’ve been home now for almost 2 weeks and I am finishing up my course of antibiotics and starting to feel like myself again. Ready to start training and getting myself into fighting 💪 shape for all the projects I have here in Colorado! #bouldering photo and first ascent by the beast @faculangbehn
Paul Robinson Instagram - Uncharted Lines feature film is now live for free for everyone on my YouTube channel! Making this film with @alex_simone28 was a 2 year journey and it couldn’t have been done without the help of so many people! Thank you all @alex_simone28 @maxwellfrank @christian_adam_ 📸 @niky_ceria @dawoods89 @jwebxl @chris_sharma @meaganmartin89 @hunterdamianiart @davinbagdonas @dave_graham_ @derrick_starling84 @neville_starling @naytonrosales @peeches88 @pol_roca @betoboulder @davinbagdonas @vansickle83 @beaukahler link in bio! Shot entirely on @canonusa
Paul Robinson Instagram - Pretty stoked to do this rad hard 4 mover, “Clarence,” 8A /V12 the other day! This one doesn’t get much attention but it’s super fun and a nice hard crimp boulder. Worth the hike! #bouldering photo: @frank__decaro
Paul Robinson Instagram - 1-5-8, V12/8A . What a sick one! Stoked to send this one yesterday and witness one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen! Wow. I wish the photos did it justice. After this heat and rain 🌧 I am so stoked to get back to the projects! #bouldering photo: @lizzy.ellison
Paul Robinson Instagram - Didn’t have space to fit this one in the last south edit! So here is the full video of a rad new one that climbs from down and left into hitman. I am calling this one, “The Red Room,” and is somewhere around v11/12 or so?? I’m looking forward to seeing more people get on it and let me know what they think. This is def atypical of the south… straight pulling on small crimps! #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Beaten Path, V11/8A. Such a legend boulder 🤩. Tall and committing at the end. Glad @ethan_pringle had my spot on this one 🙌🙌🙌 #bouldering photo: @lizzy.ellison
Paul Robinson Instagram - 2 months… cannot wait to try this boulder and so many more. 🌍 attempt on black eagle sit. #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Ive been in Colombia 🇨🇴 for about one week now with @lizzy.ellison . This country is incredible and the rock is some of the best I have ever seen in the world 👀! Blown away by the quality and the amazing culture and people here. Thank you to all the local climbers that made this trip perfect! I can’t wait to share more imagery and video soon. Photo: @juan_da_arenas @kamp_nattivo #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - I came down to Chattanooga back in late March hoping for a few days of good weather before the southern heat really set in. During that short stay, @jgass520 and @wookiepower19 showed me the killing wall which I was completely blown away by. I immediately noticed a line of holds that climbed directly into the tall and committing, “hit man” from down and left. We tried the line a little that warm March evening and I vowed to come back to hopefully put my name on this pristine piece of stone. Fast forward to yesterday, with damn near perfect conditions and the same awesome crew, I managed to make the first ascent of this perfect line which I am calling, “The Red Room,” after the famous short story by HG Wells due to the lines intimidating and scary exit. This has to be one of my better fa’s to date and I’m stoked for more people to get on it! My skin is kinda low and I have to do a board comp on Thursday but I’m hoping to get out tomorrow to sample a little more down here before leaving on Friday! #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Psyched to make the flash of, “Light Saber,” 8A/V11 the other day up at road crew. Chill fun moves through the bottom leads to this lock off to a pinch and dyno crossover of a massive jug. Fun unique movement on this one! #bouldering photo: @frank__decaro

Paul Robinson Instagram - Super fun day in the flatirons yesterday with @marijus3 @jeremy_fullerton and @alexinhabitstalus 🤙 I got shown this incredible looking project and immediately got to work on the rope cleaning it up. Stoked to make the first ascent of, “Maroon,” ~V10/11?? Sketchy one for sure but all time purple rock on this boulder! Go do it 👻 ! #bouldering

Check it out with the link in bio 🤙🤙🤙 Here is a little sneak peak to the epic day @lizzy.ellison and I had on the mega hike and mega climb! Such a rad boulder! #bouldering thanks to @lizzy.ellison and @ethan_pringle for helping 🎥
Paul Robinson Instagram - I’m not sure it gets better than this!? Perfect southern sandstone and a wall that honestly trumps the beyond life wall in joes, that I previously thought could have been the best single boulder I’d ever seen. This boulder is getting me incredibly psyched for a south east trip this next winter! Big thanks to @wookiepower19 and @jgass520 for showing me this ⭐️ of a boulder last week 🤙🤙🤙 screen shot from the send of, “Hit Man,” V10 from @nikolaimilburn #bouldering

Paul Robinson Instagram - Another one I am super proud of having sent, “Trust Issues,” V14/8B while in Rocklands. I really felt like this trip I was able to calm down my nerves on some taller boulders and actually climb them. This has always been a struggle for me over the years and I feel grateful to have been able to calm down my nerves a bit and trust my climbing ability. Thanks to @marijus3 for the legend spot and to @lizzy.ellison for capturing the send! #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Patience, 8A a sick one that I feel like rarely gets done and is right next to the classic “Distance,” at the Coop. The classic rocklands rounded horizontal rails 🤤 so damn dreamy! #bouldering photo: @lizzy.ellison
Paul Robinson Instagram - Omgggggggg. Less than 2 months until a hell of a lot more of this. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 AFRICA 🇿🇦 cannot wait to show this insane country to you @lizzy.ellison photo: @alex_simone88
Paul Robinson Instagram - 4mil prophet, V12 (3rd ascent). Such a heinous one. Those start crimps are tiny and sharp as hell! Psyched to finish this one off. Stoked on these spring afternoon at the tracks boulder! #bouldering @ramrod92 @tchadx @frank__decaro @kat_doerr @bobbysorich

Paul Robinson Instagram - Yewwwwwww! Loving my time down in South Africa! Rooibos Tea in the morning, climbing all day long and fires 🔥 braais every evening 🤤🤤🤤 Needed an awesome trip like this for a long time now! Power of bar one v12 send from the other day. #bouldering photo: @lizzy.ellison

Paul Robinson Instagram - Psyched to be back in Rocklands for the next month 💪💪 after 8-9 days of straight rain, the weather gods above blessed us with some great temps and I was able to make a relatively quick ascent of the very cool @dave_graham_ boulder, “Saturn Returns, 8B/V13. Psyched for a lot more sun, wind, and cold temps. #bouldering photo: @frank__decaro
Paul Robinson Instagram - Pac Man, V13. Such a sick one. Psyched to do this one yesterday with the setting sun. It’s so rad to have some 5 ⭐️ climbing only 15 mins from my house! Photo: @fernandojimenez_ #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Tal of the caracal v11/12. Fun one from the other day! Got to surf and climb on the same day. Not a bad day! Waiting for some good cold dry days ahead to hopefully start ticking off some of the harder lines I’ve been trying! #bouldering photo: @lizzy.ellison

Paul Robinson Instagram - Back in 2008 on my first trip to Rocklands, I climbed “Oral Office,” but never tried the left exit, “Pendragon,” V11. On my last day in Rocklands, I wanted to clean up a few of the classics that I had never done before so I was excited to climb this classic! I climbed it first go which made me laugh because it is obviously not a flash but I’m not really sure how much beta I could have remembered from 14 years ago 😂😂😂 man I miss South Africa! I can’t wait for next year :) Part 2 of the Africa video coming soon! #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - South East video is live! Check it on my YouTube channel or by using the link in bio. 🫡 #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Another fun training day at Lincoln with @marijus3 🙌🙌 super fun to revisit climbs I did in the past and feel strong on them. “Evil Backwards,” V13. @evolv_worldwide shaman heel making all the heel hooks on this climb feel extra good 🙌 #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Late last year I took a trip down to Chile to check out an area that my friend @faculangbehn and his friends and family had been climbing at for years! The area did not disappoint! Thanks to everyone for making the trip a memorable one despite being sick as hell almost the entire time! Check out the full film on youtube, link in bio. I tried to put a lot of emotion and time into this edit so please let me know what you think! #bouldering
Paul Robinson Instagram - Happy holidays all! Really loved my time down south a few weeks back. Hoping to get back soon for a few undone projects. Enjoy this lil edit of wookie charms and killing wall from the trip and my new love for jeeps. #bouldering
Paul Robinson - 3K Likes - Right before we had to leave, I managed to send the elusive roadside scary test piece, “Get Railed” V14/8B .

Paul Robinson - 2.6K Likes - Driving to the airport on Friday afternoon, I almost turned around and went back home due to feeling like I was starting to get a cold.

Paul Robinson - 2K Likes - This trip to Chile has been a testing one, to say the least.

Paul Robinson - 1.7K Likes - I came down to Chattanooga back in late March hoping for a few days of good weather before the southern heat really set in. #bouldering

Paul Robinson - 1.1K Likes - Back in 2008 on my first trip to Rocklands, I climbed “Oral Office,” but never tried the left exit, “Pendragon,” V11. #bouldering

The area did not disappoint! Thanks to everyone for making the trip a memorable one despite being sick as hell almost the entire time! Check out the full film on youtube, link in bio. I tried to put a lot of emotion and time into this edit so please let me know what you think! #bouldering
