And the fact that that person happens to be my bestie @hunterdeno makes it even more special! I remember before we even had confirmation that Cosmic Fury was really going to happen, Hunter and I had conversations about how SOMEONE needs to be Red now after my color change. And I thought it should be her šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ I couldnā€™t be more happy that my prediction came true! Russell Curry Instagram - "The Beat Goes On!" ā¤ļø I'm about to get real with you... One year ago I got one of the scariest phone calls I've ever gotten. My dad was having a heart attack. ā¤ļø I had a hard time believing it. He hadn't had any serious health issues and was always so active. ā¤ļø Add in the fact that they were taking him to the hospital where my mom passed away 24 years earlier, and I was a wreck. ā¤ļø I met my brother and my dad's partner at the hospital and saw Dad before they took him into emergency triple bypass surgery at 2AM. ā¤ļø I'm so grateful and fortunate that it was a complete success. That photo on the table in front of us is of him in the hospital recovering. ā¤ļø Fast forward a year, and you'd never know he even had a heart attack! He's back to his active self and has been for a few months now. ā¤ļø This past weekend, we threw a party celebrating a full year of Dad's good health - and many more to come. We were surrounded by our friends and family, and I'm so beyond thankful for everyone's love and support! ā¤ļø This photo of us really sums it all up, in my opinion (thank you @rnagashima!) And honestly, I knew it wasn't Dad's time to go, cause he's finally gonna see the @laclippers bring home the championship šŸ†šŸ˜œ

A character that means a LOT to Ranger Nation and a character that was a HUGE part of my childhood! As soon as I read the script, I knew I had a big shoes to fill (or a big tube to fill, figuratively speaking?) I spent as much time as I could watching clips of @djfielding_zordon in order to emulate his speech patterns and bring that sage wisdom that he radiates. I definitely could’ve done better with a bit more time, but I’m really happy with how it turned out – and apparently so was he! I had to capture as much of this journey as possible, so here are a few pieces of the process behind the scenes! My first time putting in colored contacts in my life, and man was it trippy! The costume fitting with @sarahvoonie before they made all the final cuts to the fabric Me on set with my script making sure I get it all right. You’ll notice the Red Morphin Master staff right behind me cause we also shot another HUGE scene that day (more on that later) And a little bit of how it was shot vs. how it turned out for the reveal at the beginning of Episode 10. I can’t thank @pookina @beccabarnescats @alwynagain and the entire creative team for giving me such amazing gifts to play with as an actor for these past 3 years. So many dreams come true!
