Amruta Subhash Instagram – USA memories: Amruta and I conducted a theatre workshop with the BFA students at Auburn University, Alabama, USA. Their enthusiasm was contagious and we thoroughly enjoyed the interaction. The students jumped into the exercise and added details which their training had given them. This highlights the importance of academic courses which train theatre students. I was reminded of Lalit Kala Kendra in Pune and felt we should have more of such institutions. Thank you Andrew Schwartz and Tessa for giving us the opportunity and my dear friend Aniruddha Belsare for introducing us.
‘ती फुलराणी’ आणि ‘पुनश्च हनिमून’ पोचलं अमेरिकेच्या अॅाबर्न युनिवर्सिटीत❤️ नाटकाची भाषा ही ते नाटक कुठल्या भाषेत लिहीलं आहे त्यापलिकडची असते असं जाणवलं जेव्हा मी आणि अमृतानं अॅाबर्न युनिवर्सिटीमधल्या थिएटर डिपार्टमेण्टसाठी नाट्यशिबीर घेतलं. आम्ही फुलराणी आणि पुनश्च हनिमून या मराठी नाटकांमधले काही प्रसंग त्यांच्यासमोर चक्क मराठीत सादर केले आणि तरीही त्या विद्यार्थ्यांना ते ज्यापद्धतीनं पोचले ते पाहून फार आनंद झाला. हे शिबीर घेण्याची संधी आमचा जुना दोस्त अनिरुद्ध बेलसरे याच्यामुळे आम्हाला मिळाली. मनापासून कृतज्ञता❤️ | Posted on 16/Sep/2024 11:12:22
