This was a BIG one for me, getting down into some core wounding I’ve been facing for a few years now.
What I learned is this: “tests” are supposed to be a measurement of our mastery of the knowledge being taught… not an assessment of our very soul.
In our school system, we’ve somehow managed to corrupt and weaponize “tests” by turning them into yet another false hierarchical way to create shame within our children… which then leads to shame-filled adults… which then leads to violence and violation.
Enough.
If you don’t “pass a test” it’s because you are still in class. You didn’t fail…because there’s no such thing.
You are in Earth School.
You are good enough and today you get to try again. Period.
