Autumn Reeser Instagram – Finding Egypt in Avalon…
and vice versa…
Easily the most transformative experience for me last year (in a year of many) was my journey to Avalon. The power of this time cannot be measured and some of it cannot be spoken of.
When I was in Egypt in 2023, the message I kept hearing was “And next you have to go to Avalon.” (Can I be honest? I didn’t even really know where this was…sorry to everyone who loves Mists of Avalon… yes I’ve read it since)
The day I got back to Los Angeles (literally THE DAY)… I got an out-of-the-blue text from my beautiful sister @ameyacohen (who was my doula for Finn) and her message said: “I’m leading a pilgrimage to Avalon this summer. Would you like to come with me?”
And so I went, answering the call.
That was last summer, and I haven’t been ready to share until now. I’m not always sure why, but every step on this path has revealed more and more magic and wonder to me, so I just continue to open, to simply say “Yes,” and to step forward into the mystery. | Posted on 13/Sep/2024 20:00:00
