Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes. By God’s grace, i will be well. It’s taking longer, but my body is doing its best and i am taken care of very well. 🙏🏻 Side story about the third photo 🙊: I’ve been craving for something sweet (even after consuming seedless grapes and orange slices) so after learning that there’s a cafe by the lobby of @dilimandoctors , i asked Anna to buy me either cream puff (which i heard is also very good there), cookies or brownies. After a while, she returns with this. It wasn’t quite what i expected would come from a cafe, so i wasn’t sure how i’d feel. 😑🤣😆 P.S. Turns out, the cafe was closed due to the holiday, so Anna bought these cookies from the canteen instead, hehe. 😬

At a back alley of a trading post in La Trinidad, Benguet, sacks of carrots are piled on top of each other, similar to the sacks of pumpkins we saw at NVAT. These come from different farmers, but the same tiring problem persists. Umulan na’t umaraw, nandito pa rin, nakatambak. These are already mushed, rotten carrots. Hindi na rin pwedeng ipamigay. We have been informed that another delivery of carrots is scheduled for this Tuesday. We shall hang a tarp above the bagsakan area to shelter the incoming carrots from the possible rain. We will gather them and have them transported to Manila to distribute to shelters. Since our farmers have no way to find buyers for these carrots, we have decided to donate them to rescue shelters. Any amount helps both our farmers and shelters. RuRi, any amount helps. This is a call to action; we must act fast. As you all know, rescue operations remain on hold as we still have so so many rescues on rehab. But yesterday, before we drove back to Bacolod after our visit at Dumaguete Animal Sanctuary, the universe found a way for Sky and Vanilla to be rescued… 🥹 It was so inspiring to see the young ones do their part. Sky and Vanilla are just 2 of the many many unwanted litters being born everyday. Let us all be a part of the solution. Be responsible pet parents, spay and neuter and adopt don’t shop! We are currently fostering Sky and Vanilla at home so please if you know anyone willing to adopt both of them together, send us a message. They are currently here in Bacolod and we will take responsibility for their needs and vet bills as we want to focus on our fundraiser for the vet bills and needs of our existing rescues. We just need adopters for them so we can help more.
