Six years ago Annie and Marc married at our beloved Beanfield. It was a joyous occasion. Joshua Bell@led a string quartet in the Overture to Cadide as Annie and her girls walked in SO MUCH LOVE,laughter, great food, dancing to a phenomenal band led by Paul Shaffer. Songs.
Playing Alberta in #TheDeliverence under Lee Daniels’ direction and in the company of Andra Day, Mo’Nique, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Demi Singleton, Caleb McLaughlin and Anthony B. Jenkins was one of the best, most joyous, challenging and humbling experiences of my career. I can’t wait to share it with the world on NETFLIX on August 30.
