Verdict? ITS SO GOOD!
Not going to lie, but we were really skeptical at first about this one because normally everyone loves the salted egg at the center of a traditional mooncake right?
But I didn’t miss it one bit in this recipe because the sweetness of the cranberries and winter melon was JUST AS GOOD!
Now a little bit of why we did this:
A) We love Mid-Autumn Festival
B) We have family members who want to eat healthier and we knew mixed-nuts mooncakes is something they can consume too!
C) We got our hands on some quality U.S. sustainably produced ingredients ❤️
