My favorite Fall skirt from @shopmille , three ways 💫 Side note, my 14-year-old told me I’m embarrassing her because this song was trending WEEKS ago. I can’t wait to see how she feels when she gets to 22 seconds in 👀💁🏻♀️ Link in stories.
Me: Let me get a cute picture of your new pink hair before school. Her: ⬆️😏 Also. Not me just now realizing that she snuck her fake nose ring by me this morning and went to school like that 😑 teenagerssssss yayyyyyy
Guys. I officially have a middle schooler and a HIGH SCHOOLER 😭😭😭 What is happening? What is life? I have no idea what I will do with this quiet house for the next 10 months but I think I will start with power washing my front steps 🥴

School was supposed start last Thursday but Tropical Storm Debby had other plans for us. Two more days of late morning snuggles with this sweet little weirdo and then it’s game on ❤️
I woke up this morning reallyyyy feeling like Fall. I threw on a pretty Fall dress, I made a hot chai latte, I even put a pot roast in the crockpot. Then I walked outside, realized it was 90°, and promptly ran back inside (with my tail between my legs) to change 🫠 Who else is so ready for sweaters and pumpkins that they are just being completely ignorant and pretending like the predicted high for the day is fake news? If you are like me, you’ll want to check out the @christydawn Pre-Fall Campaign that just launched! I am a @christydawn addict and they have so many pretty things to get you ready for the change in seasons. As a bonus, use my code 15GRAY for 15% off 🍁🍂🎃
My sweet, tender-hearted, strong-willed, too-smart-for-his-own-good, handsome bud turned 12 years old yesterday 😭 here’s to him never losing that little tic where he closes one eye when he’s feeling embarrassed ❤️ I love you to the moon and back Charlie Barley.

I dropped Farris off for school this morning, still wearing my new @lakepajamas lounge set because they were too cozy to take off. I had full intentions of getting dressed in time to pick her up. Sadly for Farris, the only thing I actually did was add socks and moccasins to the look. #ootd
Spent all day trying to figure out where to hang these portraits, only to have my soon-to-be 15 year old tell me it looks like a penis.
Favorite little corner, with the dead part of the plant cropped out so you’ll think I have my life together 💁🏻♀️
Thrifting books and then arranging them by color has proven to be a very polarizing topic 😅 I, personally, fall in the camp of “you do you, Boo”. For some people, like myself, my brain sorts things by color. Even the apps on my phone are organized by color. I know that, when I want to flip through my Normal Rockwell coffee table book for example, I look for the tall skinny book in the central red section of my bookcase. Some people memorize books by author. That’s just not me. But I love that there are so many different types of brains in the world and so many different ways of thinking. I’ve also read a lot of comments from people who think it’s odd to buy books in bulk from a thrift shop for the purpose of filing up a bookcase. To these people I would like to say “don’t knock it till you’ve tried it”. I sometimes spend HOURS going through the books I have collected this way. I feel like every time I go to my bookshelf I am finding some new special treasure that I had previously overlooked. If you are as fascinated by old books as I am, I highly suggest spending some time at your local thrift shop. I promise you, you will find some really special gems. Ask anyone who knows me well, my books are some of my most prized possessions. And combing through them to see what new treasure I will uncover is probably my favorite rainy day activity ❤️📚

I have always had a passion for collecting things. However, turns out, all collections may not be good collections 😬💁🏻♀️ . . . #collection #picturewall #greenthumb #interiordesign #maximalism
In honor of celebrating my dad’s 74th birthday yesterday, here is a video of him zip lining upside down in Costa Rica this summer 😂 Let’s hope we can all be zip lining over the rain forest at the age of 74! We love you Grumps!
Because when you have a 12-year-old boy and you never know when you might hear that familiar primal yell of “mommmmmm I need a bandage,” it helps to have them close at hand. @getwelly and I have a shared love of bright colors and bold patterns, so we made a game of it. Can you find the Welly tin in each of these photos? Bet you can’t. #sponsored
