We vlogged the whole day on YouTube!🎉🥰 We played the most unique & FUN game I’ve ever played at a baby shower – we drank milk out of a bottle and whoever drank the fastest won!🍼 🎉 My friend, Lea, was the champion🏆 but my niece was a very close second!😜 highly recommend this game for your next baby shower!🎉 It had us allll laughing!😂 I have to give a huge shout out to our photographer @krystalnocellaphotography for capturing these beautiful photos of us so we can look back at this day forever!🥰 I can’t thank my friends/team Ruth, Jessica, Diana, Jullie & Steph for picking out and decorating the most STUNNING venue, @allinoneeventgala! The food and staff were amazing! They were so kind and helpful all day long!💕 When we moved to Sarasota, Florida we knew NO ONE. Truly, not one person.🫣 We loved the weather and the vibe. The schools were great and siesta key beach made us fall in love. We felt called by God to make this huge move to find “our people.” To think just a couple years later and we have a community of the most kind and caring people in our life – some who *asked* to help throw me a lil shower when they found out I was pregnant.🥺 It’s so sweet & at times a bit shocking – like, pinch me is this real?!?👀 It’s truly an answer to prayer. And we know exactly why our little family was called to move here.🙏❤️ Sooo what’d you think of our dresses? Was that the one you voted for? From the moment I held my precious rainbow baby in my arms, I knew I’d love her forever, never leave her & I’d do anything to make sure she knows she is safe, loved & protected.🌈👶 What I didn’t know was how much she’d teach ME over the years.🙏🥹❤️ Growing up I always longed for a deep mother-daughter bond with my mom. I truly believe my mom tried her best with what she had, but there were many, many times I felt alone & abandoned. I know my mom felt the same way herself as she was growing up. I am doing everything in my power to make sure that cycle is broken.🙏💯 It’s not lost on me that the mother-daughter bond I craved with my mom I get to nurture with my own daughter now.🥹 I will stop at nothing to make sure my sweet girl knows how important, special, and LOVED she is.🙏❤️ And it’s amazing bc my mom is showing more and more lately that she wants to have a relationship with *both* of us.🥹🙏❤️ To be honest, I was always quite bitter towards my mom for leaving me alone to care for my younger siblings all by myself, but it was after having my daughter that I began to try to put myself in my mom’s shoes. I don’t think there’s ever a “good” reason to leave your kids, but she had no support system and 5 kids all alone. It took me having my daughter & becoming a mommy myself before my heart began softening. I’ve been trying to understand my mom more. I believe in second, third, and fourth chances…sometimes it takes a few tries for people to change. And lately she has shown me so much growth and personal strength. And im so happy Henley (and Hendrix!) get to have her as their Grammy! Henley Grace, I thought after I gave birth to you I’d spend my life teaching you, but you’ve taught ME so much in the last seven years.🙏🥰 I hope you have had the most love-filled birthday today! You are everything good in this world and I feel so blessed to get to be your mommy!! I love you so much!!!💕

I’m so impressed by the pregnant mamas who are so dang fit.💪 I wanted to be that mama buuuut I can barely roll my jumbo belly outta bed!🤷🏼♀️🤣 We were trying to conceive for such a long time and I was doing *everything* to be as healthy and fit as possible for pregnancy.🤗 Before I got pregnant with these miracle twins I was working out, playing pickleball, eating super healthy … then the minute I got preggers I began eating like a toddler bc it was all I could stomach.😅 Shout out to the women who are able to work out like this all throughout pregnancy! You won’t even BELIEVE how much they weigh already.🤯 I shared their ultrasound on my stories so you can see! 35 weeks pregnant TODAY!🎉 with twins!🤯 I never thought I’d make it this far!🥳 I’m thanking God every single day I wake up and they’re still safe and sound inside me🙏🤰🩵🩵 I am so glad they’re growing so peacefully in there!🙏🥹 ….how I feel while carrying them?!? We’ve made it to 34 weeks WITH TWINS🙏👏 35 weeks tomorrow!🤰👶👶 I feel GINORMOUS & like they’ll fall out any day now🤪, but I’m *so thankful* they’re still in there cookin’ so hopefully no NICU time.🙏❤️🙏❤️ This will be my very last pregnancy so I’m trying to soak up all their sweet kicks and rolls inside – but I gotta be honest – the “lightning crotch” this time around is relentless🫣 See my stories for some belly kicks and body parts pressing outta my belly😅 This pregnancy has been BY FAR the hardest pregnancy of my life … I think God knew I needed the last one to be hard so I didn’t keep begging him for more kids!😜😆😂 Pregnancy was always so easy for me before, but now I know why some women really hate being pregnant. It has been so difficult from morning sickness to the constant fatigue. The aches and pains pretty much everywhere at this point🤪 And the hormones making me cry and then angry😬🤦🏼♀️ …sorry hubby.😩😂 In the final moments of my last pregnancy I am slowing down A LOT. Spending as much quality time with my older two kiddos playing games, crafting, swimming, – anything they want. I know it’s going to be a huge adjustment for them & I want their cup to be soooo full before they come bc I’ll be so busy with two more babies soon. What did you do to help your older kiddo prep for the new baby. When Hendrix came Henley was so small and we just had a gift from the baby for her … she didn’t really get it & we just made sure to spend equal amount of time with her …. Which was easy bc Doug would stay with her while I was with baby or vice versa. Never compare yourself to anyone you see online or in magazines—people only showing highlight reels also poop just like us💩💁🏼♀️😂❤️ It’s nice to get all dolled up and take pics, but it’s also nice to wear comfy pjs all day and not feel guilty/ugly if your hairs a mess and you have zits poppin out!😆 You are beautiful, worthy & loved no matter what you look like on the outside. Either one or both babies ended up with NICU time soooo I’m hoping to keep mine cooking at least a few more weeks so their lungs can fully mature.🙏🙏🙏 I did get a chance to talk to my doc about delivery plans for the twins 🤰We shared the whole appointment on our YouTube page – if you wanna watch just comment “delivery plan” and I’ll have the AI robots send it straight to your inbox❤️ Praying we can get the nursery finished, a van in our driveway w car seats installed & have bags fully packed & ready before they come!🙏 But if none of that happens we will still be ok. WE FINALLY AGREED ON A NAME for one of our twin babies!!!🎉🤗🥳 We had SO MUCH FUN revealing it to our kiddos (and YOU via our YouTube)!!🤗🤗 Naming TWO babies at the same time is harder than it seems!🤪 But this name both Doug and I *love* and it really fits the personality of Twin B in my belly.☺️🤰 I explain it allllll in our most recent YouTube video! I was a nervous wreck on our wedding day👰🤵 I was walking down the aisle to marry a man & I didn’t even know his name🤯 I knew absolutely NOTHING about my future husband except he wanted love & family too🙏 I knew we had that in common and that was the one thing I wanted more than anything in the world – true love & family❤️ It definitely wasn’t love at first sight for us👀 I had the most infamous panic attack right after we said “I do” (cameras caught it all on @mafslifetime 🫣🤪) but I wouldn’t trade a moment of our story for any other love story out there!💕 If you would’ve told me on our wedding night that my marrying a complete stranger on national television would actually work out, I wouldn’t have believed you… I actually went to bed that night thinking I made a HUGE mistake marrying a stranger😅 But here we are … 10 years & *ALMOST* 4 kids later… and by the grace of God I can honestly say we’ve never been stronger than we are now!🙏🙏❤️❤️ Don’t get me wrong, we’ve been through some *super hard* times and I won’t pretend we never talked about divorce during those hard times … we both believe in divorce.💯 I know this is controversial, but we both believe if things aren’t right with your partner and you’ve tried everything to make them right & youre still miserable together – why waste precious life & stay miserable together just because you’re married?!🤷🏼♀️ In some ways I think both of us knowing divorce is never off the table it helps us continue to work on being better versions of ourselves for each other❤️ Anyway – If you’re searching for love and feel awkward or broken – that was me 10 years ago. I was clueless on a date 🤦🏼♀️😅 I’m pretty sure I’m still ranked as the #1 most awkward kiss on the bachelor… and that was nearly 15 years ago now!🤣 don’t google my name and the bachelor😬🙅♀️ I just want to say there is hope for the lost, lonely, awkward single people🙋🏼♀️ but you have to keep your mind open for love to come💕 Or if you’re married and having a rough time – therapy has been a marriage saver for us!🙏 That and keeping our family and friends out of our marital issues💯 Curious-did you watch us on married at first sight?🥰
32 wks pregnant w the twinnies TODAY🤰🎉 Every day we get further the least likely they’ll have to be in the NICU!🙏🙌 I know they can come any day👶👶… but being 32 weeks feels like a huge triumph & my anxiety has eased up so much with each week they get bigger!🙏 And speaking of getting bigger – they’re each the size of a cantaloupe.🍈 If my girl math is mathing correctly, two cantaloupes = a watermelon!!!🍉 😆 With every pregnancy Doug has done the watermelon challenge.🤣 I thought it’d be the perfect time for him to wear it and remember just how heavy it is for me to carry his babies around for him😉 … but I dont know?! I genuinely think my belly is *bigger* than the watermelon on his???😂 What do you think???🤔😅 The other thing we did today was meet with a doula to help during labor. I think I should really have one there for personal support!🙏 I am doing everything I can to prevent postpartum depression this time around – it was so severe last time & I can’t imagine going through it again with twins.🙈 I used to try to be “strong” and not ask for help or lean into support – now I know only the strongest women get by because they do have help. They aren’t scared to accept or ask for it. And since we have no family here, I think having an experienced doula will be so beneficial during the tough parts of labor.🙏🙏🙏 I’ve never had a doula before but my friend Diana and so many others really believe they’re so helpful so it’s def worth a shot! Have you ever used a doula??🤷🏼♀️ who/what was your best support during labor? I think @doughehner legit gets scared of me (🤣) and all the pain during labor so he kinda just disappears!😅 After chatting with some friends I think most men kinda get freaked out by labor and even the delivery … with Hendrix I was like “Doug!! We have UPDATES for you!!🥳 FIRST, We’re going to high risk Doc for ultrasound of the twinnies today!🤰👶👶 Of course I’ll be sharing on stories – We’ll find out their weight and percentile and positions!🤗 We have officially decided to put our podcast Hot Marriage Cool Parents on hold as we prepare to welcome these sweet baby boys into the world!💕 I went through *awful* postpartum depression (literally Su!cidal😩) after having Hendrix and I am doing everything I can to prevent that from happening this time around. Im even thinking of eating my placenta bc studies show it helps combat PPD.👀 … did you eat your placenta? Would you if you knew it helped??🙈 We will keep our YouTube channel, Hanging With The Hehners (turning @hotmarriagecoolparents into our YouTube IG page🙌). This is a vulnerable one but the other day a girlfran asked me if we’re still “doing it” … the short answer is NO!🙅♀️😂 With our first pregnancy I used to feel like I’d kinda have to because I didn’t want our marriage to go down the drain or lack chemistry during pregnancy😩 Doug never made me feel like I had to – I just wanted to as his wife.☺️ I feel like us ladies put that kinda pressure on ourselves especially when we’re newer in our marriage/relationship.🤦🏼♀️ I sure hope it isn’t your partner putting that pressure on you😬 10 years into marriage and now pregnant with twins I have ZERO worries about not “doing it” for a few months while I’m super pregnant or uncomfortable postpartum with stitches and fluid leaking from all of my crevices.🤪😅 There are so many other ways to connect as a couple.💯🙏❤️ I think we should normalize the lack of “doing it” in marriage when you’re pregnant/postpartum/any other reasons. There’s no shame in it and it doesn’t mean you love each other less. As a matter of fact, your love and respect for each other can grow immensely as you learn new ways to show affection.❤️ And if you feel like you’re the only one not “doing it” for whatever reason – just know you’re not. And it’s ok. 💕 You aren’t broken and it’ll return just fine when you’re ready! They may call me geriatric 👵🏻 with this pregnancy but mama can still get down💃 …kinda 🤪🤣 Everyone says “you need to slow down” and “it’s time to relax you have twins in there!” but honestly, I’ve never known how to slow down or relax — even when pregnant!🤰 I’ve taken my kids to drop off and pick up every single day this week, I’ve continued to do alll the normal work, house chores and parenting things I’ve always done bc I know when the babies come I won’t be able to do as much – esp with my older two kiddos – and I want that quality time with them now!🙏🙏🙏 I have been cleaning & sorting more than ever — trying to donate all the extra stuff we don’t need anymore so the house is more tidy. I always feel like there’s so much to do when I’m pregnant and actually the chiropractor and OBGYN both agree that laying around in bed all day isn’t good for my body or the babies so I keep trying to live normal life & do all the normal things🙌 … but every once in a while I do a bit too much and pay for it later.🤪😅 This weekend I’m hoping to get hospital bag packed, bags for my older two in case it happens at night, and maybe we can squeeze in a trip to get a new minivan?!! And I really wanna tackle the nursery bc it looks like a tornado went through that room – I’ll have to show ya in stories!🫣 I also want to get their bassinets/changing station set up in our bedroom! Writing it out now, there’s not a chance I can get minivan and nursery done in the same weekend l so I’ll have to choose one or the other … and since car shopping is an all day thing & my older kiddos don’t love car shopping I’ll prob do nursery & save the car shopping for a day their in school🙅♀️🤣 Anyway! I’m trying to get as much done as possible so we can feel ready for these baby boys🤰👶👶 When you’re pregnant do you keep the same routine or make/allow yourself to rest more? I said to myself when I got pregnant with these twins “this time I am going to make myself rest more!” but honestly, there really is no time to rest and get stuff done!
