Jo Frost Instagram – Tough love is NOT a parenting style it is a teachable moment. Most parents have made that call at one point parenting. Many on social media Inc professionals villainize parents who have done so and I believe that is not okay.
Think about it, you’ve offered to take yr teen to school this term as it is quicker than the bus, on yr way to work, they get up late,every day, now yr late, everyday,you tell them please time keep or you will have to get the bus next time because it’s costing me my work, they have no regard and get up late again,so next day you say no can do buddy and they get the bus moaning. That’s Tough Love.
I could give so many examples but I’m sure you have ones you could share with me, so, your Tough Love decisions 💙
