2. Educate yourself 1st through medical professionals, then teach your children,it is an ongoing dialog.
3. Encourage your child using their own voice at restaurants or answering q’s about their Anaphylaxis.
4. Normalize carrying 2x epipens so they are not embarrassed.
5. If you don’t have, EVERY PARENT should teach their children about Anaphylaxis & allergies so this fosters empathy education and awareness.
6. Play out scenarios so your children don’t get caught out with peer pressure.
7. When in doubt, you leave it out…say No.
8. Your medical condition does not define your child. Make sure they know that. xx
