Almost a year ago I was contacted by the Royal Mail with the incredibly moving and exciting news that they would be issuing a special set of Porridge themed stamps ,and I was so touched ,excited and thrilled that my dad and Ronnie and Fulton and Sidney Lotterby and everyone involved in this extraordinary programme was being celebrated in this amazing way . I was asked if I would post about it the following September and of course I said yes immediately – but then when it came to the launch, they asked me to wait a week until after all of the tabloids and news outlets had already shared it -and it’s a really strange thing when you share someone that you have lost with thousands of people who also adore him but in admittedly a different way, being told you have to wait until last to share your person (and I suppose in the context of having had more loss this year )makes you feel incredibly sad ..so I thought possibly I’m excluded from this and I just should let them make their launch and then they sort of retracted and said I could post in a couple of days or something but by that point it felt like the moment had passed . But then I spent a bit of time at my mum’s polishing up his Slade prison tankard and thinking -and although I do feel that even though all of you probably know already that this gorgeous edition of stamps is out and I am so unbelievably grateful to the Royal Mail for honouring Porridge and it threw me for a second -it’s not worth not sharing a lovely moment that celebrates such special work from everyone involved and of course my deeply adored father who I miss so dreadfully… please rush out and buy these stamps -they are a special collectors edition and I’ve included a just few of them in this post . Its a gorgeous tribute and I do want to say thank you so much to the Royal Mail and also to the millions of you who alerted me to the stamps even though I had known about them for a year – it was incredibly sweet of you to think of me . Bless you. And long live Porridge , whose moment it seems will never pass x

Well that was a first … @empirestateofpoms was a Pomeranian bonanza and thank you so much for having us at your first Los Angeles Pom party , @prettyconnected🩷. I am perturbed that out of all these dogs, Myf’s bumhole was sniffed avidly more than anyone else’s but I am choosing to take it as a positive 🍩

Just checking, is this every single person in the UK or just every single person that I know in the UK?
