Katori Hall Instagram – 🚨 Casting News! 🚨 The Alliance’s production of THE MOUNTAINTOP will star Rob Demery as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Jade Payton as Camae.
Demery’s credits include A SOLDIER’S PLAY on Broadway, TOO HEAVY FOR YOUR POCKET at Alliance, as well as the film “Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia” where he also played Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Payton’s credits include Netflix’s “Glamorous,” and COVENANT Off-Broadway.
Described as a play that “pulses with a new sense of urgency” (Entertainment Weekly), THE MOUNTAINTOP is by Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall and is Directed by Tinashe Kajese-Bolden. It will run on The Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre AUG 30 – SEP 22. Tickets and info at the link in our bio.
