Nandita Das Instagram – Coming back to Delhi, where I grew up, is always bittersweet. A bit chaotic and aggressive, but more trees and monuments. And my family and friends is what makes the visits special. This time, I met some and some I couldn’t. Took photos with some and some I forgot to take with.
Had a delicious meal with @_adilhussain and his lovely wife #KristenJain, chatted non-stop with #ShohiniGhosh, went to The Piano Man for music and chitchat with my lawyer friend #GitikaAggarwal, popped in to the Dhumal’s and also to my chachu’s @raghurai.official Managed to even catch up with @deepamehtaofficial!
Went to a book conversation with @namitagokhale and @asatwik. And at an event by @boito.in for weaves from Odisha. Had a little get-together at my father’s and belatedly tied Rakhi to my brother, #siddharthadas at my mother’s. Packed trip!
Navigated the city through water logging and the haphazard traffic. There are more tit bits, but here is my short update and an entry in my diary. And the flight is now taking off to Kolkata. Doors closing!!
