Well here is an update on my lovely knee journey.
In attempts to tryout for cheer for next season I injured my knee again. I had surgery AGAIN! Friday the docs went in and completely removed my ACL, removed a cyclops lesion under my kneecap, repaired my MCL, released my PCL and shaved my kneecap to allow range of motion. I’ve been put in a full cast for 3 weeks to keep my leg in a straight position. The recovery time is 6-9 months with intense physical therapy. Definitely not what I expected! I have a long road ahead of me.

I am so very grateful i got to experience this cheer season with this amazing team. Even tho i wasn’t able to compete with them i enjoyed every moment watching them perform and become an amazing team. these girls are amazing i love them all and im very grateful for the wonderful coaches that we had and i will forever cherish the funny moments with the team. 🫶🏻

I’m in a hinge brace now. Starting PT this week. I’m scared. I’m in so much pain and I don’t want to have to ever have this surgery again.

Found this in my drafts before I got injured and can’t dance for 8-10 weeks. For now. We are trying our hardest to avoid surgical intervention.
Tear in my lower back ligaments and my SI joint is hurting. My hips are tilting right and we are trying to rehab so I can come back next season stronger than ever.
