On the 1st of September 2024, Riya Bharatanatyam Academy, in association with the International Council for Music and Dancers Association (ICMDA), participated in a historic world record attempt! With over 7,000 participants from across the globe, this event was a true celebration of unity and devotion through the art of Bharatanatyam. Riya Bharatanatyam Academy’s students joined this grand event online from Hyderabad, connecting with the vibrant energy of the main event in Kasi and have been honored with certificates from the Department of Art and Culture of the Government of Tamil Nadu, ICMDA, and The Kasi Vishwanath Temple Trust. Also the students received certificates from the Asia and American Book of World Records♥️
