Subadult male tiger from tadoba….. Sub-adult tigers start moving away from their family when they are 18 months old, and eventually move away entirely to establish their own territories. A sub-adult tiger is a tiger that is between the ages of 2 and 3 years old. Tigers are categorized into six age groups based on their age and characteristics: Cubs: Less than 12 months old Juveniles: 1–2 years old Sub-adults: 2–3 years old Young-adults: 3–5 years old Prime-adults: 5–10 years old Old-adults: Over 10 years old 🐅 🐅🐅🐅 Sub-adult tigers face a lot of competition when establishing their territories, and many may be killed in the process. 🐅 🐯 Sub-adult tigers learn to hunt by playing with their siblings and mothers, and by mock charging. 🐅 Shot with Sonya7rv 200-600mm lens @sonyalphain @tadobaofficial @tadobavanyavillas

Ridhi with cubs shot in February 2024…. Ignore my bad photgraphy bcoz it was my beginning days of learning …. So out of excitement when I see all in a single place, which leads to 🙄😔😞 Very bold and young cubs. Usually cubs are very bold and curious with the gypsys and humans when humans visits into their habitat…. Mother will be very protective likewise other mammals….🤎 This was shot in the end of the winter season,,, early hours of morning…… I feel lucky to shot all the cubs and mother in a single frame….. which was my dream to capture this kind of … Planning my next trip in October to sight again all the cubs along with mother , hopefully they are grown and become subadult looks like equal in size of their mother…. Thank you Ravi for making this trip happen successfully #rajasthan #rajasthantourism #wildlifephotography #wildlife #wildlifeonearth #ranathambore #sawaimadhopur
