🌱✨ Food CycleLA was definitely in the mix at this year’s Hollywood Climate Summit! We got to hear from legends like Jane Fonda and the cast and creators of “Twisters.” It was so fun going with my fellow environmental friends Kristin Daniel Pinkson and Merissa Underwood to witness this thriving community and look at all the vegan options they were serving! The 30-day vegan challenge, thanks to Billie Eilish’s mom, was inspiring! 🌍❤️ Loved seeing the entertainment industry power hitters highlighting climate change impacts. From documentary screenings at CAA to amazing artists and speakers, this thriving community gives me hope. Can’t wait for next year! #ClimateAction #HollywoodClimateSummit #FoodCycleLA

This is my cohort in Los Angeles for @caclimateaction we graduated July 18th 2024, 5 of us served at @foodcycle_la for a year and we helped rescue 8 million lbs of unsold food from landfills, diverting it to organizations who distribute to those in need. We helped stop 94 tons of CO2 emissions, if you look really close you’ll see some really great hearts I met along the way. Congratulations to the California Climate Action Corps fellows of 2023-2024.
