Today was my last ever day on @outlander_starz. It had been 3 years since I last shot on the show when they asked me back for a turn on this final season. It’s now been 8 years since I got cast.. I really don’t know what to say. My life has changed on this show. Truly different lives lived. I’m so grateful for Marsali Fraser and all that came with her. For all your support and stories. #theoutrun comes out in the USA today. I took my Grandpas v old film camera to Orkney and Papay (v far north fringes of Scottish islands) for my few weeks shooting. think he’d love knowing it travelled all the way up there to a very ancient celtic place with his very Scottish granddaughter to document a unique time. 1 – Rona/Saoirse 2 – shooting in a corncrake field 3 – the tiny plane 4 – a corncrake 5 – inside the tiny plane 6 – Orkney crabs 7 – RSPB baby LETS GIVE NATURE A HOME @amymayyyy 8 – director @nora_fingscheidt 9 – lunch 10 – on route to Yesnaby and grandpas cam 11- my first day filming cold swimming to wrecks 12- a wee break 13- perfect tartan culture on another tiny plane 14- Yesnaby 15 – celebrating.. 16 – Rona/Saorise on the last day in Papay in the tiny airport. We were weighed before jetting off on the tiny plane. Go to the cinema to see the film because the sound is insane and captures the immensness of all its feelings and themes.
