Just sayin’…
And here’s to women everywhere being able to happily – and safely – take themselves out to dinner after a long day to do some work, plough through a few dozen emails, text friends, have a cheeky cocktail, eat broccoli (because, hey, greens!), catch up on some reading, wear clothes, tuck their hair behind one ear, and place a white napkin on their lap in peace…without worrying about being shamed or judged or dissected or made to feel totally violated and stalked by some creepy guy secretly taking pictures for some toxic tabloid website designed to make you look sad and lonely…when you’re actually having a great night, doing EXACTLY what you want to be doing, and with EXACTLY the person you want to be with.
In peace. Minding your own business. Not hurting anyone.
Yeah, just sayin’…
Well, we all made it to the end of 2021!! So from my family to yours, we wish you and all your loved ones brighter, kinder days ahead, and the happiest and healthiest of New Years possible. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
(And yes, there is one son missing here, but he’s totally owning the barbecue tonight and those sausages just couldn’t wait!)

So declared Assistant US Attorney Maurene Comey to jurors in her closing address in the trial of now-convicted sex trafficker and former partner of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell.
She went on: “Maxwell never thought that those teenage girls would have the strength to report what happened to them. In her eyes, they were just trash beneath her.”
So, in a year when so many women of all ages dug deep, found their voices and courageously came forward to tell their stories, here is to ALL the Janes, Kates, Carolyns, Annies, Brittanys, Graces, and so so many others….thank you.
Your extraordinary – and continued – bravery is helping to build a better, safer world for all our daughters – and sons – to come.

I grew up completely devouring the Mary Tyler Moore Show every Saturday night…and even though I had a massive girl-crush on the exquisite Mary (her joy, her job, her decency, her apartment, her clothes, her open-top sports car and that big old “M” on her apartment wall), it was the entire cast that made it all so perfect – including the adorable Betty White who played Sue-Ann, and pretty much stole every scene she was in. Much like, it seems, the way she lived her entire life. Singer, actor, comedian, talk show host, animal rights activist, humanitarian, equality trailblazer, and by all reports, a total sweetheart.
So sad to think the whole cast is gone now…
So rest well, Betty White. I’m so glad you knew how much we all loved you while you were still with us. And thank you for reminding us too, that to be a good human, and always defy expectations, really IS a great way to live a life…

The look of a woman who knows she has coffee coming! Happy Friday everyone. xx 😋 ☕️
Summer hols don’t get much better than this. Twenty eight degrees and crystal clear waves for this pretty ordinary boogie boarder. 😎🏖🏄♀️
Happy Father’s Day to my favourite dad. Our absolute rock.❤️❤️❤️
Totally blown away to discover that my autobiography, “It Wasn’t Meant to Be Like This” has been nominated for @booktopiabooks Favourite Australian Book Award for 2021.
Thank you so much to everyone who has sent me so many beautiful messages since it’s release (I read every single one of them, I promise, and have laughed, cried, empathised and been truly humbled by the effect the book has had on so many. I have tried too to get back to as many as possible!).
A huge thank you too to Booktopia for their support and this fantastic award that spotlights ALL of our wonderful local authors. 📚 🇦🇺
Gone the chop. Don’t think I’ve had it this short since the early Today Show years. Feels sooo good. 💃❤️ The magic 💇♀️ hands of @mwassefhairdressing 😘 #shorthairdontcare #newbeginnings
Every single day this year, 57 Australians will hear the words “you have breast cancer”. The effect these words have can be devastating and tragically, in Australia, on every one of those days, nine women still lose their lives to breast cancer. But there is a pathway forward – with clinical trials research to help get new breast cancer treatments to patients and those at risk. And that’s why I’m so proud to be in my 12th year as ambassador for the wonderful Australian Women’s Health Diary…the indispensable diary that literally saves lives every year by raising vital funds for continued research to help improve the lives and outcomes for all those affected by breast cancer. For just $19.99, the beautiful 2025 edition is available right now at newsagents, participating post offices and Woolworths across the country, and of course, online at womenshealthdiary.com.au (Makes a brilliant present too!)🎁 On behalf of all those affected by this cruel disease, thank you! 🙏 🌺😘 PS. And yes, once again this year, the diary comes to you fully Maggie-endorsed (last pic), but as you can see, our girl was just a little camera shy this time ‘round. Bless. ❤️❤️❤️ @womensweeklymag @breastcancertrials #boxer #boxerdog

The extraordinary grace. Those masterful performances. The passion. The serenity. The gentle dignity. All captured in that beautiful face. And the legacy of a life lived with real meaning while blazing a trail for so many others.
I find it impossible to gather the words to best capture the effect your breathtaking performance opposite Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn in Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner had on this little girl growing up in the suburbs on the other side of the world. So all I can say is thank you.
Thank you Sidney Poitier for all you gave this weary earth.
Rest in love, sir. 🙏💔

The @theprojecttv hair, makeup & wardrobe team have their work cut out for them tonight. But hey, nothing a little bit of lippy can’t fix, right? 😂😂😂
See you post-rebuild, at 6.30 tonight! 🙋♀️

“I tell you what, I’ll grow a beard…” I don’t know I can ever live this moment down from around ten years ago on the Today Show, but it’s hilarious how often it keeps popping up on socials…and it’s happening again. But there’s a back story I told on the show that you may have missed!! Family photos show that my great, great grandmother Esther (god bless her), had a shocking case of facial hair on her chinny-chin-chin in later life, and so beards really ARE “in my genes”. 😉😇 Enjoy… 😂 #throwback #thetodayshow #todayshow @jimmyniggles Repost: @before.eng

What a thrill! Tonight on the Sunday Project I’m chatting to the incomparable Denzel Washington. Just love his work and the fact he is just so bloody down to earth about much of the BS of Hollywood. AND the words he shares about his late friend and mentor Sidney Poitier are not to be missed!
Hope you can join us for this Australian TV exclusive interview, tonight on SUNDAY @theprojecttv at 6.30. 🌺🌺🌺
