11 Years of #SwamyRaRa Do you think we should make a sequel ??? What do you say @swati194 @sudheerkvarma ??
Rewatched #MonthofMadhu as i always like to rewatch the films i loved on its release anniversary♥️✨It’s too beautiful in a rewatch✨ . Such a profoundly moving film that flows breezy like a river…The narrative,The cinematography,The free flow editing and amazing scene transitions,The minimal use of music…On top of all that the stunning performances makes this as a super impactful film in all sorts❤️✨Absolutely loved so many beautiful conversations that’s packed in this film🫶 . @swati194 ‘s portrayal of LEKHA will remain as one of the benchmark performances of Indian Cinema✨The whole film is under 140 minutes and she has to convey what all happened in Lekha’s life in the last 20 years within her screentime and the dialogues/conversations about why she fall out of love/stop tolerating in the name of love was kept very minimal yet as audience we get the full impact of why Lekha is firm in her decision♥️One of the most beautifully written and performed character arc☺️And all those tiny tiny nuances that Swathi brought into the film is just mind blowing…Take a scene where she is having her lunch and one of her colleague shows her baby video to another colleague and the way She slightly peeks into the phone screen and there will be a smile on her face for a micro second…These are things that can’t be defined exactly in writing…And i absolutely love how immaculately Swathi lived as LEKHA here🫶 . Though everyone was amazing in the film…Swathi is the SHOWSTEALER because of the way she effortlessly carries Lekha without being so loud or over melodramatic…Her performance is extracted in a restrained but very authentic manner❤️ @srikanth_nagothi ♥️✨ . So this is a special post for Lekha aka @swati194 and to rave about the rest of the amazing cast…I’ll come with another post☺️ #MonthofMadhu . . . ఈరోజు నా సినిమా “Month of Madhu” like never before! 🌟 Cast : @swati194 , @naveenchandra212 , @harshachemudu , @shreya_navile , @gnaneswari_kandregula Director: @srikanth_nagothi Streaming : @ahavideoin . . . . “Month of Madhu” is the film explores the complexities of human relationships through the story of an estranged couple, Madhu and Lekha, as they navigate the challenges of their marriage and personal growth. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Srikanth Nagothi, the director of “Month of Madhu,” for his exceptional vision and dedication in bringing this poignant story to life. Your insightful direction and commitment to exploring the complexities of human relationships have made this film a truly memorable experience. Thank you for your remarkable work and inspiring storytelling. Madhu (played by Naveen Chandra) is a complex character struggling with the intricacies of his marriage and personal demons. He is depicted as a man who, despite his flaws and emotional baggage, seeks to find clarity and redemption in his life. His journey involves confronting his past and learning to navigate his relationships with greater empathy and understanding. Lekha (played by Swathi Reddy) is Madhu’s estranged wife. She is portrayed as a strong, independent woman who has faced her own set of challenges. Lekha’s character embodies resilience and determination as she strives to maintain her sense of self while dealing with the turmoil in her marriage. Her journey reflects themes of self-discovery and empowerment as she seeks to find balance and happiness.

Varanasi, with gentle invisible authority, caught me off guard and made me sit up and made sit down with it too. Words can not do justice. Even though words have power, you can not hold on to them. They take you very close to a feeling but not entirely. It is all lovely when someone says the words I love you to you, it feels lovely, but when something happens unexpectedly that makes you know without them saying, that they, whoever said I love you, does really love you, you do not feel lovely then, you feel loved. You experience feeling loved. It hits differently. The knowledge from words and the knowledge from experiences are never the same. Varanasi has to be experienced. I did not have any epiphany there, find nirvana or enlightenment. What I did find is the universe showing off it’s wit. The streets packed with people and cows that don’t care, dogs that are also treated holy, the alternating mix of strong smells of tasty street food and human filth, glorious sunrises at the mighty Ganga, and dead bodies burning by her side. Varanasi will overwhelm you. To such a degree that only after you get home, will you realise it’s magnitude. It is a good shock to the system, one that isn’t just about God, religion or age but more about you, the you now. Your triggers, emotional blind spots, addictions and also, your weaknesses. If you allow, it will bring forth all these with tenderness. It looks scary but is a female friendly city. Most importantly, it is non judgmental. The city and it’s locals have seen more crazy than you have or are. They’re laid back yet everything seems rushed at the same time. You can’t keep up with them. They are inhabitants of a different world and anyone is welcome. I did not think I will miss or treasure it. Kasi reminded me again – To be open and respectful to uncertainty in all of its many different forms. That just like this city, everything is running according to an order, even if it doesn’t look so from the outside.

I haven’t done a film where every actor, technician, crew from the post production felt such love and passion towards a project. From the people on sets to team mates behind the screen, through out, everyone operated from love. Love for the craft, faith in the reason for the narrative and trust in each other’s talent.
This film was wholesome in creative satisfaction and a roller coaster ride in the journey of adulting. #gratitude to every team player and more #gratitude to everyone who showed us love and validation 🙏 ♥️
Now that’s a wrap. With a ribbon 🎀 🙂 #MonthOfMadhu
