So proud to be part of the Kriv Stenders’ film The Correspondent. It tells the story of Australian journalist Peter Greste who was imprisoned in 2013, in Cairo for simply doing his job. Peter is played masterfully by Richard Roxburgh. The danger that journalists find themselves is devastatingly more relevant than ever. Peter was incredibly generous with me in the making of this film and I feel grateful to call him a friend. I have immense respect for journalists the world over and know we have nothing without the 4th Estate. Now please enjoy swiping between two Aussie legends Richard Roxburgh and Peter Greste.

Three funny ladies practicing their funny hearts out. Had such a beautiful time with these 3 and dear @celestebarber filming the goodbye to dad scene where honestly- we just cried and cried and cried like weird comedy therapy. Felt soooo good in a pandemic world to sing and laugh and cry together. Thanks to everyone who has sent lovely messages about my small role in this great show. Congratulations to all involved – apparently it’s no. 2 viewed show on Netflix globally- which is bloody bananas. Go get ‘em @celestebarber – we love ya!
Tomorrow we launch @_hineighbour and I couldn’t be more proud. Its gone from just me bumbling along to a real team of gorgeous humans who believe in a beautiful future, for everyone. From here I hope it continues to grow, and for all of you who join us on this mission, I hope you feel ownership of the tools of change we all possess. And to know those tools are best used to unify rather than divide. 😍 Weee hooo!!! Yael x
Came back from the coal face with a big fat reality check to share. That job takes serious grit! 45 minutes in a truck just to get deep enough to start work. From there, thick mud, debris everywhere, seriously confined spaces, constant dust, noise, thick mud and those are just the parts I could comprehend. These folk are clever, they deal with very complicated, industrial logistics puzzles every day of the week. We must support these workers as we make the shift to clean energy, we need them. And they deserve it. Given the right settings, these people are the hero’s of our clean energy movement.

In celebration of @missyhigginsmusic finishing up the epic Sound of White tour! Massive congratulations to this national treasure, the amazing band (I love you @auntyzozo) and crew and everyone that made it happen.
