Grateful to have shared this emotional journey with the real heroes of the film, @marcuscapone @mattyborders234 and @dj_shipley85, their families, and the amazing folks who helped this film come to life. It was a privilege to witness the courage and resilience of these brave men—and the powerful women by their side who helped them rebuild after the darkest of times.
To the incredible wives @ambafab and @patsyshipley81 whose strength and determination helped save their husbands when they were struggling- strong, badass women like you are the backbone of this story and of so many families impacted by war.
This documentary is deeply personal to me, not just as an executive producer, but as a passionate advocate for mental health and psychedelic-assisted therapy. These veteran’s sacrifices go beyond the battlefield, and remind us of the strength it takes to survive and heal. Thank you to everyone who made this film possible and to the families who trusted the filmmakers with their stories.
