and a very special thank you to dana spiotta, for your generosity of understanding. i’ve often felt a disconnect between how i feel and how i’m seen, sometimes lacking the vocabulary to bridge the two. where my language may be insufficient, yours streams in abundance. how grateful i am for the time we spent together and to be articulated by someone with an empathy like yours.
