Today is International Day of the Girl If you’re not familiar, Day of the Girl is about celebrating the amazing things girls can achieve when there’s nothing holding them back. It’s also a day that acknowledges girls do still face setbacks, especially those living through harsh conditions like conflict or disaster. That’s why I’m supporting Plan International’s Giving Day today. Plan is raising funds to empower girls to fight for their right to safety and equality. Plan raised $100,000 in 24hrs on last year’s Giving Day, so let’s come together and smash that goal again this year to help girls forge their own destinies and achieve their dreams.
