Ruzana Ibrahim Instagram – What is the measure of a man? Is it the money he has, the possessions he owns, or the power he wields?

I believe it is none of these. The true measure of a man lies in how much love he gives, how selflessly he acts, and how consistently he lifts up those around him. That describes my papa.

To my dear papa, today was especially hard, perhaps because our minds were occupied 2 days ago when you passed. It was an honor to care for you until your last breath. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. I’ve always been amazed by how you and arwah mama raised all 7 of us.

I will miss your cooking, your endless demands, and how you always knew exactly what you wanted. I’ll cherish the moments we exchanged recipes and your thunderous voice that commanded attention. You fought so bravely, determined to prove the doctors wrong, but Allah has better plans for you; He loves you more.

I find comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain and that your suffering has come to an end. Your strength was remarkable. I have never witnessed such resilience. The doctors who cared for you recognized your special spirit and said they learned a lot from you.

Your wisdom, intellectual depth, and steadfast principles have guided me through various stages of life. You were the most authentic, sincere, and hardworking man I knew. From you, I learned that integrity is more valuable than wealth. Your honesty and courage in facing challenges, even during your illness, inspire me deeply. Despite your frustration with your body’s limitations, you remained a beacon of strength and hope.

We saw this coming, but somehow I still wasn’t prepared for another loss. I know I need to accept what has been written by The Almighty. I will miss you and arwah mama very much. Thank you for your wisdom, for building a family rooted in love and kindness. May Allah SWT accept your deeds and tawbah, protect and keep you safe always within His love and mercy in the akhirah.

Arwah mama, datuk, nenek and now you, papa. The 4 of you were my anchors, though you are gone, your legacies will forever live on in my heart.
