4 years ago an idea dawned on me to create a size inclusive, comfortable, stylish, empowering brand and swimwear line. Here we are a year into officially being in business celebrating 10,000 of you that have joined our community.
There was a point in my business where I wanted to give up and I remember my husband @apollos_fitness reminding me of my WHY and I’m so glad he did ❤️ Reading messages from customers around the world on how comfortable they feel in their swimwear and how they’re no longer afraid of any swim plans because they’ve got a piece from our collection that makes them feel supported, comfortable and most importantly empowered is so fulfilling. This picnic was going to end with a swim with the girls and my knee jerk reaction the night before was to stress out thinking my body is not in shape, I don’t feel the best, how is swimwear going to look on me when I realised I’ve created a collection that totally eliminates that – there’s a piece for everyone from little coverage to full coverage. I opted for my Saisha one piece and Tropics sarong and I felt soooo beautiful & confident! 🌴 I think this was a really big ah-ha moment telling me I’m on the right path with this business and brand because these experiences are so real and not catered to enough and I want to do everything I can through this brand to eliminate the insecurity and liberate women to feel their best. It was never about our bodies fitting clothes and swimwear. It was always about clothing being created and fitted for our unique beautiful body types and modesty and support preferences with style at the core of it all!
This was such a beautiful and wholesome afternoon, eating, sharing what we’re all up to, celebrating one another, seeing the girls all come out wearing their favourite STL pieces for the swim.
