Step 1: Convince parents. Step 2: Convince the internet I convinced my parents.😅 How did I convince my parents? I didn’t. At least at first. I helped them understand. Change didn’t happen overnight. It took years of open conversations, proving my responsibility, and building their trust. If you’re struggling too, remember—patience and honest communication can go a long way.🫶🏽 [Trending reels, trends, convincing parents, travel, explore, viral reels, edits]
Tell me, Would you like to sleep on a wooden pillow? Firstly, A huge shout out to @omovalleytours, led by the amazing Fitsum. They’re the most ethical and sustainable travel company I’ve come across, ensuring that the tribes’ traditions and livelihoods are respected. Their services are top-notch, and you can trust them to provide a meaningful and responsible travel experience. Ethiopia continues to blow my mind in the most unexpected ways. First, the Bana tribe walking on wooden stilts, and now, people literally sleeping on wooden pillows! It’s such a wild contrast to the modern comforts we take for granted. Everything here is so different, so raw, and so incredibly fascinating. If I hadn’t traveled to Ethiopia, I would’ve never seen something this unique. It’s moments like these that give you what I call a ‘traveler’s eye’ – the ability to see and appreciate different ways of life without judgment. Ethiopia is truly one of the most special and challenging countries I’ve visited. From its diverse tribes to its stunning landscapes, it’s a place that pushes you to rethink and adapt. Ethiopia is a world apart—a place that challenges and changes you. And honestly, isn’t that what travel is all about? Vegetarians unite?🌿 [collab] Use my code AM20 for an extra 20% OFF📈 So many of my vegetarian friends struggle with finding good veg food abroad. They often have to miss out on delicious food and stick to the plain and boring Maggi or McD. Honestly that’s such a rookie mistake to make. Food is intricately tied to culture. Missing out on local cuisine means missing a vital part of the culture. After exploring 40 countries as a vegetarian, I’ve cracked the code to stress-free travel dining!😎 Using tools like the HappyCow app or Google to find vegetarian options is great, but dining out EVERYDAY isn’t feasible, especially for digital nomads. A healthier, budget-friendly option is to carry protein bars. Brands like @thewholetruthfoods offer preservative-free options that can be added to oats and just like that- my protein intake for the day levels up! It’s got 13g of protein, no harmful chemicals and zero nasty preservatives, these are my ultimate travel companions. Perfect for: 👉 Those hangry moments between finding restaurants 👉 Long flight delays 👉 Quick breakfast on-the-go As a digital nomad, it’s these small tweaks that make a LOT of difference. They help me stay healthy and save money! 🤑 (T&C for AM20: Minimum Order-1000) #Collab [TravelAmore, TRAVEL, travel hacks, Travel ideas, Travel essentials, Health, Digital nomad, protein bars]

Did you know🤯? I recently visited Ethiopia with @omovalleytours and all I can say is, they’ve done an absolutely AMAZING job. Fitsum (the guy behind it) is an ethiopian himself and he’s super passionate about the tribes and culture of his country. You can trust that they’ll provide you an authentic and ethical travel experience. The more I travel, the more I realize that The idea of ‘beauty’ is so dynamic that what’s considered beautiful in one country might be considered “unattractive” in another. They shift not just from country to country but from era to era. Here,I witnessed how the tribal women use different techniques to enhance their beauty. This definately challenged what I’ve been conditioned to believe. This experience really taught me that beauty has No room for judgement. It also made me rethink the narrow beauty standards I was exposed to growing up. In Ethiopia, women who wear tattoos and piercings are not just accepted, but also celebrated as a part of their heritage. The lesson here is simple: Beauty is constantly changing. In earlier times when fuller body types were more appreciated, and now more slimmer figures are preferred. This shows how fluid beauty really is. It changes with time place and culture. So, instead of trying to conform to a beauty standard, just be yourself. Authenticity is the only thing that lasts. What is the craziest thing you’ve witnessed while travelling? People walking on stilts made of wood- CRAZY! It’s such a simple yet incredibly creative solution, and the way it makes them appear taller is both fascinating and practical. Recently, I had the chance to explore Ethiopia with @omovalleytours, led by Fitsum, who truly understands ethical and sustainable travel. When visiting tribes and witnessing their incredible ways of life, it’s so important to choose companies that respect the culture and ensure the communities benefit directly. Omo Valley Tours made sure the experience was respectful and impactful for everyone involved. They’re amazing at their job. If you’re planning to visit Ethiopia here are some tips: But FIRST please know that Ethiopia is not the easiest country to travel in. It’s a destination that challenges you, pushes your boundaries, and requires a lot of patience. If you’re not a seasoned traveler, it might feel overwhelming. But if you’re ready for the challenge, Ethiopia will reward you with perspectives you won’t find anywhere else. For me, it was one of the hardest yet most rewarding places I’ve ever traveled to. ➡️Visa Tip: Ethiopia offers e-visas for travelers, but keep in mind that the tourist e-visa is only valid for those entering through Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa. You can apply online before your trip! 💵 Carry Cash: Many areas and markets in Ethiopia operate on cash only. Keep enough Ethiopian Birr for daily needs and exchange currency at official counters for the best rates. 👟 Clothing: Ethiopia involves a lot of exploration and walking, so pack clothing that’s comfortable and practical. Comfy shoes are non-negotiable. So, if you’re planning to visit, do your research, go with an open mind, and prepare for an adventure like no other. Ethiopia might just surprise you in the best possible way! [TravelAmore, Travel, Ethiopia, culture, storytelling, Africa, Tribes, Travel reels, Travel stories]

Long drives through scenic roads, quiet moments on the beach, and bonding over delicious Goan food made this trip so special.
