Talk about eclipse energy! 🌕 The drive home last night with @lydiahearst was nothing short of magical. Lydia decided to take the “long way” home and I’m so glad she did. Twisting down the winding road felt like the biggest metaphor for life. We could have rushed home as we were both exhausted but slowing down to take in the views of the country side brought us both back to life. Watching the sun set and the moon rise with one of my best friends is now a core memory that I feel so lucky to have. We ended up crossing paths with a massive Rosevelt Elk. It acted as a true protector because we slowed down in awe of what we had just seen, turning a blind corner where we were dramatically met face to face with a single loose cow on the road. I didn’t think it could get more magical and then the universe decided to show off by having a white owl swoop down directly infront of the car and quite literally lead us up the long driveway back to the house. All of this happened because we took the long way home. Life can be pretty sweet when we slow down, release control and let it lead us the long way “home”. We’re here for a blip, let’s not rush it.
The plot twist none of us saw coming…my new personality is the @malibuchilicookoff and a @bluebottle NOLA cold foam coffee. When @brandlikethat asked me join them out in Malibu this past weekend I had no clue that it would start an instant internal countdown to next Labor Day weekend. I had the BEST time and was truly given the star treatment cue @woahitsnatalie & @lainey__rose saying “she’s with me” as I ran around the grounds. It made me even happier to see so many people having a blast for a great cause—a portion of all proceeds from MCCO goes to @bcgmalibu90265 Truly the best weekend.

A weekend in my life since starting @byllieco! This week we have some really fun stuff planned for @taschen’s annual warehouse sale, so we started our weekend by stopping by both their LA locations to make sure everything was in order for the influencer and consumer activations. Finding work life balance feels easy to me because BYLLIE doesn’t feel like work. I know Vivian and are so passionate about what we’re creating that even when things are stressful it’s still fun! But I’m finally ready to take a page from @vivian.aimee’s book and start taking my fitness seriously. Working out is hard for me, I’ve dealt with chronic pain for years so challenging myself physically is not something I find myself naturally wanting to do but @spikedwellness creates such a supportive workout environment. They just opened 3 weeks ago and their an epic female founded small business that does a lot more than just provide classes to the community. Briana Thompson the founder of Spiked also started The Spiked Foundation to equip the next generation with sustainable wellness tools to improve their well-being, prepare them to “Insult the Standard”, overcome societal obstacles, and live as healthy humans. Get out and support them LA.
The secret’s out! My company, @byllieco, is proud to be working with publishing powerhouse @taschen. The impact that @benedikttaschen has had on the art world is immeasurable. Spontaneous trip to Newport tattoo parlor for the girls! I had my ears pierced as a baby so I had no idea what to expect and was mentally preparing for it to be the equivalent of open heart surgery. Imagine being apart of a family this cool?! I can’t believe my sister talked us into this.
Summer so far. If I say I’m going to do it, Its already done. One of the most transformative summers of my life. I can’t wait to see what happens in August.
In honor of the Paris Olympics coming up here is a little throw back to one of the most memorable moments of my life. I have always felt like a character in a movie, I have had the pleasure of experiencing so many magical chapters of my life. Working with @cocacola will forever be a highlight of my career. Getting to run with the Olympic torch through the streets of Rio with the people of Brazil chanting my name and welcoming me with such open hearts at 19 years old was beyond overwhelming for me. I cried tears of joy after this because I knew it was a once in a life time experience that such a small group of people get to do throughout history. The Olympics are such a special celebration of unity and the human spirit and I can’t wait to watch!
I will never get over how beautiful @cranelosangeles is! @ckaedingcolor has been doing my hair and providing free therapy for me since I was 18. If I love you, if I hate you cass knows about it. Experimenting with my hair has been one of the great joys of my life, I love being a chameleon and expressing myself as a new character in each chapter of my life. But I think we have finally settled on my new signature look. What do you guys think?
