About the award for Best Talk Show and Best News Channel: The strength of our democracy is the ability to freely disagree with netas, both in government and in the opposition. Journalists should always try to listen to both sides and allow viewers to make up their own minds. It may sound old fashioned, but it’s not cool for anchors and channels to foist their opinions on their viewers. The effort has to be to shed the most light, not to make the most noise. A news channel must be a platform for all sides to make their voice heard to the citizens, without the channel picking a side and putting others down.
