A Day with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare!🇮🇳 I am honored to receive this recognition from Hon’ble Prataprao Jadhav, Union Minister of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. On September 24th, the Ministry launched the “Tobacco Free Youth Campaign 2.0,” a 60-day initiative focused on raising awareness about tobacco consumption, especially among vulnerable youth. This event inaugurated over 2000 Tobacco Cessation Centres nationwide and introduced essential guidelines, including: • The Health Workers Guide • SOPs for Tobacco-Free Villages • Guidelines for Law Enforcers on the 2024 Tobacco Control Laws Renowned figures from the government, entertainment industry, sports fraternity and creators were recognized for their efforts in spreading awareness. The government also encouraged everyone to participate in promoting the Anti-Tobacco Campaign, particularly through social media, to reach a larger audience. I truly appreciate the government’s commitment and efforts towards this cause and hopefully this will be a huge success . I’m glad to be a part of this important initiative. If you have a senior citizen in your family, YOU CAN’T MISS THIS!! Here’s the latest update for the world’s largest health assurance scheme. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) in the cabinet meeting on 11th September extended the features of the Aayushman Bharat scheme for senior citizens above the age of 70, irrespective of their financial background. Earlier the scheme focused on people belonging to weaker sections of society and provided : 1. A cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization across public and private empanelled hospitals in India. 2. Cashless access to health care services for the beneficiary at the point of service i.e the hospital 3. A cover of up to 3 days of pre-hospitalization and 15 days post-hospitalization expenses such as diagnostics and medicines. Previously these features were only for low income category families but now these will be available irrespective of anyone’s income bracket. More details about this extension will be rolled out by the government soon. This is a great step for making healthcare accessible to all. (banking, real estate, etc) then specify the days and times you don’t want to receive spam. – To block all types of spam calls just select all categories, days, and timings. ☎️ Still getting spam even after setting up the app? – Click on the ‘Report Voice UCC’ or ‘Report SMS UCC’ depending on which mode are the callers using to reach out to you. – After filing the complaint you can click on the ‘UCC Complaint Status’ to check the status of your grievance.
